this is my target audience

1. Target audience
Gender:
Male, action films mainly attract male viewers because they like the violence and the high
speed car chases and explosions. Men are the stereotypical gender that will go to the
cinema to watch a blockbuster action movie rather than a soppy love film that ends in
everyone crying… no they want to go see a film that will leave them on the edge of their
seat with the fast paced sequences of guys punching other guys in overdramatic fist fights.
Class/race:
My filmopening isn’t aimed at a specific class or race it’s just aimed ate anyone who loves
action films and that would want to watch it whether it’s at home or at the cinema if they
enjoy an action film then it is aimed at them.
Age:
The age range of my target audience will be 15 onwards because there is not a specific age
to stop watching films that you love but the starting age is the rating in which the film is
classed.
Interests:
The people going to view this film won’t go and see it for no reason they will go and see it
because they have an interest in the filmfor example they know about the history behind a
film or it is based on their favourite book growing up, I have to make sure the opening scene
has an interest to the viewer’s so they stay engaged throughout the whole film.

2. Audience targets:
The audience I have aimed at won’t want a cliché film the begins and ends like every action
film ever released they want something that’s new and something that swerves off away
from the mainstream ideas of Hollywood producers, they want something that is different
and exciting that they can really get into and enjoy without thinking that it’s the same as
every other action film.
