Who we are: - Vétérinaires sans Frontières Belgium is a purpose
driven organization that is dynamic in nature and strives to
eradicate poverty in the areas we work

populations in developing countries, by improving animal health

• Budget 2008 : 8 500 000 €
• 120 paid staff and several volunteers

7. ISSUES FOR DISCUSSION
• The potential for strategic partnership alliances
including joint strategic planning with NGOs.
• To explore the scope of direct technical/advisory
services from FAO as identified by NGOs
• Increase funding to NGOs and improve funding
mechanisms and levels of authority
• Improving Co-ordination role - There is a clear role for
FAO on organising technical discussions/workshops;
developing monitoring mechanisms
