A FEW SLIDES ON CO:LABX
HI THERE!
We’re fortunate enough to get in contact with a lot of people, organisations
and companies who are interested in what we do. We’re equally interested
what many companies are beginning to realize they should be doing.
For various reasons, such as ”a few other people should hear this” or ”you know, we
need to talk more, can you send me a presentation and your availabilities” etc, we need
to summarize what we do and make it easily accessible. Here it is.
As all of you whom we’ve met will no doubt know by now: a coffee is always free. For
you who haven’t met us: a coffee is always free. Ping us and let’s have coffee together, in
our experience something good always comes out of that.

We partner with clients in two ways: as external innovation partner with clear tasks around
innovation and transformation, or as internal innovation catalyst with a parallell focus on our
clients’ innovation efforts and teams. The first often leads to the second.

INSPIRED TO MOVE
SUMMARY
In short:
We move between inspirational talks, self reflection, discussions and micro workshops as we undress the technical
aspect of the transformation of our society in general and our companies specifically. Regardless of participants’
backgrounds and knowhow, collectively we arrive at what’s meaningful: people and their behaviors, expectations
and demands, around which we can start generating constructive ideas.
Outcome:
Participants and clients continuously refer to having acquired a more fundamental understanding of the
transformational forces at play and the opportunities they bring. From buzzwords to concrete reference points that
help produce solutions as opposed to confusion. A kindled curiosity for venturing on, with confidence, not skepticism.

DO DIFFERENT
SUMMARY
In short:
When working with companies and individuals who get the disruption, understand the forces and (sometimes reluctantly)
have come to peace with the fact that we’re all being affected, the thing that needs help is to move from this realisation to a
situation where they feel empowered to act. That’s what separates those with a smile from the ones with a frown.
Outcome:
Organizations can become stifled and paralyzed by discussions and debates. When provided with tools and methodologies to
act, you can start to simply do that: doing things differently from before. This is magic and has the potential to really start
bringing change to an organization, in smart ways.

INNOVATION PROCESS
SUMMARY
In short:
Certain things we can do in a day or a few. You like what we do, we come over and we work together, then
part ways. We know that’s valuable. But as our mission suggests, we help implement a force for innovation
within companies. When we partner up this way, we spend more time together, we work through phases, and
we often include more people in the process. It doesn’t work like a one-off but rather a partnership.
Outcome:
Here, outcome is actually ongoing. By continuously working on innovation initiatives and focus questions
(finding x…) as well as facilitating and helping develop internal capabilities, periodic review meetings take
place in order to review work on both team level and task level. Together we improve constantly.

INTERNAL CATALYST
SUMMARY
In short:
We work as consultants but we strive for being valuable enough to be invited in. Our mission is to help implement a force for
innovation within companies. That means making ourselves redundant. Only in this way will we constantly develop, and help
develop organizations.
The way we do this is by helping embracing innovation leadership. Today, there’s an urgent need for another type of
leadership that is better suited for innovation and change.
Outcome:
The ultimate outcome is that we part ways according to plan. Up until then we’ve either helped put in place an innovation
process, a transformation program or created a number of ambassadors collectively capable of having the impact needed to
continuously work with innovation.

We’re fortunate enough to get in contact with a lot of people, organisations and companies who are interested in what we do. We’re equally interested what many companies are beginning to realize they should be doing. For various reasons, such as ”a few other people should hear this” or ”you know, we need to talk more, can you send me a presentation and your availabilities” etc, we need to summarize what we do and make it easily accessible. Regardless of participants’ backgrounds and knowhow, collectively we arrive at what’s meaningful: people and their behaviors, expectations and demands, around which we can start generating constructive ideas. Outcome: Participants and clients continuously refer to having acquired a more fundamental understanding of the transformational forces at play and the opportunities they bring. From buzzwords to concrete reference points that help produce solutions as opposed to confusion. A kindled curiosity for venturing on, with confidence, not skepticism. That’s what separates those with a smile from the ones with a frown. Outcome: Organizations can become stifled and paralyzed by discussions and debates. When provided with tools and methodologies to act, you can start to simply do that: doing things differently from before. This is magic and has the potential to really start bringing change to an organization, in smart ways. You like what we do, we come over and we work together, then part ways. We know that’s valuable. But as our mission suggests, we help implement a force for innovation within companies. When we partner up this way, we spend more time together, we work through phases, and we often include more people in the process. It doesn’t work like a one-off but rather a partnership. Outcome: Here, outcome is actually ongoing. By continuously working on innovation initiatives and focus questions (finding x…) as well as facilitating and helping develop internal capabilities, periodic review meetings take place in order to review work on both team level and task level. Our mission is to help implement a force for innovation within companies. That means making ourselves redundant. Only in this way will we constantly develop, and help develop organizations. The way we do this is by helping embracing innovation leadership. Today, there’s an urgent need for another type of leadership that is better suited for innovation and change. Outcome: The ultimate outcome is that we part ways according to plan. Up until then we’ve either helped put in place an innovation process, a transformation program or created a number of ambassadors collectively capable of having the impact needed to continuously work with innovation.
