         Draft

Proposal Concept: I would like to further develop an understanding of the tools and
Platforms that are used through the process of communication that have lead us to,
a place where Legal language is unclear and non attachable due to constance flow
of disruptive technologies which change the world we live in today, as well as
understanding the necessities for meta-communicational forms that are continuing to
emerge at a alarming rate .

Thesis: There is a large networks that focuses beyond physical existence, and
therefore allows for a user to have complete control over the way he/she is perceived
by observers in a virtual world; however assumptions can be made about a users
identity on a personal visual exchange platform not only through visual profiles, but
also through Meta forms of visual communication.

1. brief history of sites that launched this concept of forms of communication through self
   identity
            (video)
 aol instant messenger (chat services)
            profile based sites

                  i. simple profiles, for joining links (service fee's for subscriptions)
ii. complex profiles, with link features, video, images etc
(myspace, facebook, youtube, gaming, fantasy sports)

 2. Work towards overall comparison of the history of how the virtual began and how it leads
to the idea of self identity preference/roles.

         I. There is a large world that focuses beyond physical existence, and therefore
allows for a user to have complete control over the way he/she is perceived by
         observers in a virtual world.

II. In essence assumptions can be made about a users identity on a personal level
not only through visual profiles, but also through forms of communication.
