1. CAP codes used by the ASA
I think my advert fits all the CAP codes used by the ASA as
my advert is legal, decent, honest and truthful. It is prepared
with a sense of responsibility to consumers and to society. I
have not mislead consumers by exaggerating the capability or
performance of a product. It does not contain anything that is
likely to cause serious or widespread offence. Particular care
must be taken to avoid causing offence on the grounds of race,
religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age. It does
not cause fear or distress without justifiable reason; if it can
be justified, the fear or distress should not be excessive. It
does not encourage children to enter strange places or talk to
strangers and Alcoholic drinks are not featured in promotions
directed at people under 18. There are many more reasons of
why my advert fits all the CAP codes used by the ASA however
these are a few of the main ones.
