UNIT 4 ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS
The Multi-Genre/Modal Environment Analysis Showcase
As a part of the Multi-Genre/Modal Environment Analysis Project, each student will be required
to give a 3-5 minute presentation to the class to tell their peers about their project. Your project is
due on the day of your presentation. Presentation order will be decided by random drawing, and
there will be absolutely no switching allowed.
Criteria that should be covered in this time are:
• Your general argument/thesis of the spatial rhetoric of the University of Idaho campus
• A summary of introduction and expository essay
• A brief rundown of your 5 chosen genres and why you chose them, particularly the genre
you chose that directly correlated with your major or area of study
• A highlight presentation of the visual element you chose to implement
Don’t overthink this component of the project. All in all, this presentation is meant for everyone
to share the work they’ve done. Completion of this presentation and polite attention and
attendance for all other presentations will be part of your final project grade.
PROJECTS ARE DUE THE WEEK OF APRIL 30TH – MAY 4TH
The due date of the project is determined by the order of presentations
A presentation order will be determined by random drawing
Your project is due the day you are assigned to present
