Case study We see that RBP2 binds to promoters of two functionally different groups of genes: differentiation-independent targets are highly enriched by genes encoding mitochondrial proteins and proteins of ribonucleoprotein, ribosome and spliceosome complex . differentiation-dependent targets (RBP2 binds only to differenciated cells) dominated by cell cycle genes and genes involved in DNA repair, recombination and replication .
