18. GALLERY WALK
Walk around…
Walk around the room and look at your
classmate’s self-portraits.
Once you have looked at all the self-
portraits choose two (2) that you want to
observe further.
As you observe the two portraits answer
the questions .

1. What do you like about their self-portrait?
2. What is the artist’s 3 interests?
3. What does the author tell you about their
personality?
4. Interpret what you have learned about this artist
from their self-portrait.
Example: After analyzing the artist self-portrait, I feel they
kind person that enjoys playing sports and listening to
music. My evidence of this is they drew a heart on their
body and put musical instruments in their hair.
