In compliance with the new RPMS-PPST, teachers are required to be observed; thus, demonstration teaching is needed. This was the topic chosen by the teacher who prepared this lesson plan. The observation was held on September 25, 2018, at 8:00 AM. It's a privilege to share this.
2. I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
1. use pictures as clues in completing the lyrics of the
song, Imagine, by John Lennon;
2. convey the message of the song;
3. perform various tasks like drawing, slogan making, poster
making, song composition and essay writing as
expressions of their appreciation to the song;
4. create rubrics to evaluate outputs;
5. evaluate outputs objectively.

5. B. Motivation/Presenting the new
lesson
Task 1: Listen and Imagine
Are you a dreamer? Do you keep your dreams
only for yourself? Or do you share your dreams with
others?
6. Task 2: (Picture of John Lennon will be shown to the
students.)
Are you familiar with him and what do they know
about him?
Using the PowerPoint, the information about him will also be presented.
7. C. Lesson Proper:
Task 3: (The teacher distributes to the students copies of the
song with incomplete lyrics.)
As the song is played, you will write the missing
lyrics. Use the pictures displayed on screen as clues in filling
out the missing lyrics.
