The Challenge
A state lottery partnered with Kinetic to generate excitement and buzz around a New Year’s Eve raffle one month prior to the
raffle taking place. Promoted Page Posts on Facebook featuring New Years Eve themed creative were used to target users across
a variety of open targeting strategies.
The Strategy
Leveraging Kinetic’s Testing Suite to develop audience groups, we
found that casino-related interest groups outperformed all previous
open targeting at a lower cost. Mobile placement and older age
groups, primarily Females 35-49, were additional findings that
allowed us to shift budget towards these optimizations and drive
more robust results.
The success of this campaign proved that Kinetic could deliver
results for this advertiser, who increased its paid social media budget
following this campaign.
