1. HMV Bag Evaluation
In the making of my extraordinary bag, I used many programs such as Photoshop and Google
chrome. In photoshop there are verious tools however we only used a phew such as the couloring
tool, also the adjustments tool which I experimated with to help me get the best product out of my
bag. On the internet I used (Google Chrome) which is exellant for finding the best photo to put on
my bag, to make it the best it can be. In the proccess of building my bag ive learmt new skills and
tools to make it look more appealing to the eye. Ive learnt now to use many new tools such as the
lasso tools, which help me select a part of an image to iether change colour or to manipulate it. Also
a skill ive learnt which can remove the background of an image, and replace it with another to make
it more intresting.
There are many strengths and weaknesses in my final product, the main weakness was building the
bag, I strugled to accuely put each indervisual componunt together which ended up in a rather large
white line on the front, which made it look tackie and unprofeshinal.
My strengths where, how I really hit the groung running in photoshop and really grasped how to use
it in the creation of my bag. And also how each side of the bag really suited one an other which
enhansed the genre of my bag. Finally thestevie wonder hotter than july album cover which im very
pleased with, because of how I blacked out the image and used the majic wand tool to bring back
the original colours. I liked this so much that I displayed it on the two main sides of the bag.
This is the original image on the front of the album
“Hotter than July” with some minor tweaking and
adjustments.
This is the aftermath of the image, as u can see it
has a significant change to the original image. Such
as the image being mostly black and white
however the key components still in a juicy bright
colour.
2. Im am pleased with the final product because of how it was my first time on photoshop and I think I
produced a fairly good bag.
The one thing I would do differently is to put the bag together a lot slower so that there is no
inconsistencies or fault.
