the additional information from HealthKit

For example, a training app could suggest a post workout snack
based not only on the number of calories that the user has burned
but also on the type and amount of food he or she has eaten so far

HealthKit so, for example, a patient's blood pressure reading is
automatically compared with expectations and, if anything is
amiss, their doctor is immediately alerted for follow up
Apple is also partnering with Epic Systems, a health care software

patients in the U.S., so that patients at many major institutions can
