• Like a lot of professional magazines I have seen use the same colours
throughout the cover, contents and double page spread and I believe
mine does that

presented in a
similar way to Hip
hop magazine xxl
also similar to
magazines the
names are to try
entice people to buy
it so people that are
interested in hip hop
and know these
names will want to
buy it because it
appeals to them
Like the image on the right you can see
the vary in text and in my magazine the
varied text as well also the special issue
could be a unique selling point and get
people to buy it
4. As you can see I’ve changed
some of the conventions like
with this I have black boxes
around the text which it does
not have I have continued the
colour scheme which xxl has
done as, also having a main
image on the left hand side to
make it stand out
5. This shows how my magazine has challenged other media conventions as you can see they both have a large image on the
left followed by text on the right side, Also you can see how the A is outlined and larger than the other text this is what I
have done with the d in my text and continued the theme of the masthead
