1. The Past vs. The Present By : Reginaaa Yu ;) The Kurdians The Mongolians
2. The Mongolian People The Mongolians lived in Steppe, a dry grassland in Eurasia. This provided home for the nomads. There were two main expanses, Central Asia to eastern Europe and Mongolia. Steppe has little rina, dramatic seasonal temperature differences. Steppe nomads are pastoralists, which is the domestication of animals. Asian nomads were taught to be skilled horse riders and traveled in clans, a kin group linked by a single ancestor.
3. The Kurdish People The Kurdish Nomads are still living in present day. They are often referred to as Kurdistan and they live in areas that include Iran, Iraq, Syria, Turkey, some European countries and the United States. They speak a combination of Indo-European. Although they don’t have an official country, they follow their herds of animals through the mountains and plateaus of Eastern Turkey, western Iran and northern Iraq. Tragedy occurred however, when Iraq bombed the Kurds in the late 1980’s.
