Birthday policy
1. Mrs. Shelton’s
Student Birthday Policy
Each day we’re at school there are lots of things we try to accomplish. One of those things
is recognizing those special days. Below is the student birthday policy for our classroom:
1. Please inform Mrs. Shelton, in writing, at least one day before the student’s birthday that
you will be bringing in treats to share with the class.
2. If your student’s birthday is during a school holiday, we don’t want to leave them out!
Please pick a day we are at school that is closest to your child’s birthday, and let me know
in writing what date you have decided. If your child’s birthday is during the summer holiday
please follow this rule of thumb: if the birthday is in June we will celebrate it in May, and if
their birthday is in July we will celebrate it in August.
3. All birthday treats must be sent in at 8:35 am with students. Mrs. Shelton will serve
them sometime during the day at her convenience.
4. Please bring in only individual servings. Napkins are optional.
5. Beverages are optional. Individual box or juice bag drinks only.
You may choose from the following treats, but please remember that refrigeration is not
available:
Doughnuts Cookies Muffins Cupcakes
Brownies Rice Krispy Treats Fresh Fruit
Any Individual Baked Treat ☺
Thank you for your cooperation,
Mrs. Shelton
