4. A tool aligned with the Long Range Plan for
Technology, 2006-2020 to aid in the following:
◦ Technology Planning
◦ Budgeting for Resources
◦ Evaluation of Progress
An online tool to allow all stakeholders to view the
technology readiness of all campuses across the
state of Texas.
5. Create/update the district’s technology plan.
Help conceptualize your campus or district vision
of technology.
Set goals for the district or campus.
Measure student and teacher proficiencies with
regard to the integration of technology across all
content areas.
6. Four Key Areas for Rating:
◦ Teaching and Learning
◦ Educator Preparation and Development
◦ Leadership, Administration, and Instructional Support
◦ Infrastructure for Technology
The above areas are rated based on the following
Levels of Progress:
◦ Early Tech
◦ Developing Tech
◦ Advanced Tech
◦ Target Tech

submitted for district summary data.

your campus data:
◦ http://starchart2.esc12.net/
◦ Determine the school year you would like to review
◦ Type in your district name (i.e. Clear Creek)
◦ Then select “Simple Search” (do not type in your
campus name)
◦ Locate your school name and click on the name to
