This document summarizes the state of community media in Bangladesh. It notes that Bangladesh currently has 14 community radio stations with 18 more approved, reaching around 4.6 million listeners across 67 sub-districts. The key achievements include training over 1000 youth and establishing a community media news agency. However, there are still challenges around community mobilization, resource mobilization, adapting new technologies, and establishing a community media development fund.
