If they do you are not alone, Pinterest has
become a very popular curation website,
dedicated to organizing all your favorite websites
by category.
3. STEP 1: CREATE BOARDS
Once you have signed up for Pinterest you will be
prompted to create new boards. This is where you
get to pick your collection themes. Here are some
ideas: Babies, Workouts, Funnies, Lifestyle, the
list could go on forever here is an image of my
boards:
4. STEP 2: ADD PINS
Once you have decided on a few boards (more
boards can be added later) you are ready to add
pins to your board. You can add pins by using the
search feature, and typing in one of your board
topics
5. STEP 2: CONT
Pinterest will give you some search ideas, or you
can type in your own words. Once you find a
heading you like, click on it to show some pins.
For example if I search babies, this is what
shows up:
6. STEP 2: CONT
Each little box you see is a “pin” once you click on
the box you will be given the option to “pin it”
“like it” or “send it.”
7. STEP 3: PUTTING PINS ON YOUR
BOARDS
If you decide you like a pin, then you will “pin it”
to one of your boards. For this example, I like
this picture so I will pin it on my baby board and
it will stay on that board if and when I want to go
back to it.
8. STEP 3: CONT
Here is my baby board with the new pin I added
to it:
9. STEP 4: CONTINUE ON
Now that you have an idea what a board is, and
how to pin onto a board you can continue adding
new boards with new themes, and new pins to
each board. Pins are usually links to other
websites, but others are there simply to look at
like a quote or image. Most pins have a
description at the bottom as to what exactly the
pin is.
