What is Human Behavior??
• Human behavior refers to the range of behaviors exhibited by humans and
which are influenced by culture, attitudes, emotions, values, ethics, authority,
rapport, hypnosis, persuasion, coercion and genetics.
• Responses of people to a work
environment
• May be direct or indirect
• Human Behavior is unpredictable

application of knowledge about how people
act within an organization.

There is no best model of human organizational behaviour. Models have
changed over time. The choice of model depends on employee needs and
the situation. Any of the models work in some situations. There is a
trend toward the newer models.
The Model used depends on the knowledge and skills of managers, the
expectations of employees, the policies and ways of life in the
organization and the nature of the work

What is Human Behavior?? • Human behavior refers to the range of behaviors exhibited by humans and which are influenced by culture, attitudes, emotions, values, ethics, authority, rapport, hypnosis, persuasion, coercion and genetics. • Responses of people to a work environment • May be direct or indirect • Human Behavior is unpredictable Organizational behavior is the study and application of knowledge about how people act within an organization.

Models have changed over time. The choice of model depends on employee needs and the situation. Any of the models work in some situations. There is a trend toward the newer models.
