6. Game
The game would not export into this powerpoint. The game is a fill in the blank
game in which the student has to fill in the correct number to make the statement
make sense.
8. Google slides is very helpful to share new digital resources and tools for learning. I
can share the google slides with my students so they can actively go along with the
lesson with me. I can post links to videos and other websites to help the students
understand the concept and they can actively click on the links and go on websites
and the videos I provide them. For example, I was able to post the link to a place
value song, and the students are able to go back to the video if they feel the need. I
think it is very helpful that I can share google slides with anyone because if a
student is having a hard time with their homework they can go onto google slides
and pull up the slideshow, which provides notes that can help them with their
homework.
9. Google Classroom allows teachers to create classes and post assignments,
while viewing the students doing the assignments. The teacher can offer feedback
while the student is doing an assignment. If a student is doing an assignment and is
not successfully answering the prompt or doing the assignment correctly the
teacher can comment on the assignment while the student is doing the assignment.
Also, the teacher can see what each student is lacking on in their assignment,
which then can show the teacher what the student is having trouble with and then
can help him/her.
One challenge I had with Google Slides is that the teacher doesn’t necessarily
know if the student is actually looking on google slides paying attention or is on a
different tab on the computer fooling around.
