HOW EFFECTIVE IS THE COMBINATION OF YOUR MAIN PRODUCT AND
ANCILLARY TEXTS?

2. My music video, music magazine poster and my digipak work well together because I have
stuck to the conventions and used the same artist on the cover and used my poster to
promote the release of my artists album. The colour schemes between my music poster
and my digipak are all the same and follow the conventional ‘rule of three’ colours and
follow a similar house style including iconic images and symbols such as the arrows. I have
also used an image that is featured on the inside if the digipak on the front cover of the
poster, which is really effective because it helps audiences to identify with the text and
builds a reputation up for the artist. Also in my music video, the guitar is featured, which
shows the link between my products and makes the combination of all three effective as
audiences and consumers of my products will be able to make links and enjoy identifying
with the products.
