5. Longrun
A long run is a run that lasts long enough for
a runner to be somewhat fatigued. The
function of a long run is to increase
endurance. There are many ways you run a
long run, like running at different pace, doing
intervals.
6. Intervals
This is my favorite type of
run. It just consist of
running for a certain period
at a fast pace than either a
jogging pace or walking.
Example
1 mile of easy jogging
(warmup) + 5 x 1K at 5K
race pace with 400m
jogging recoveries + 1 mile
of easy jogging (cooldown)
