5. Coherence?
In my opinion both of my pieces are coherent, yes. They both display a
similar house style and it is clear that they come together as a package.
After asking my focus group what they thought they said 'yes its obvious
that they come as a pair' and 'the colour scheme is the same'.
When creating my ancillary texts I had this in mind and tried to create a
clear house style, I believe I have achieved that and my focus group
support me. If there was something I could change it would be the
colours, they are not completely the same and could be made to
represent a more clear style continuity.
Also I would use the same font for the digipak title as I did for the
advertisement.
6. Music Video Coherence
Overall my music video cohered less with my ancillary texts than I had originally hoped, after
a narrative change my focus was pulled from the house style to the narrative and overall
effect of the piece. Although I had aimed to display a more obvious house style there are still
some elements that are in keeping with the ancillary text style.

The reason that there is little link between the ancillary
text and the main text is due to a lack in organisation
and forward planning, if we has a clear narrative from
the start I could have made distinguished a clear
house style throughout.
Upon receiving my audience feedback they all seem
to say that they 'enjoy' and 'like' the text as a full
package and don't seem to recognise the lack in
continuity.
