Business and Management Chronicle
 It is a monthly magazine (Rs 40/-).
 It is published from the house of Chronicle Publications Pvt. Ltd.
 It is for aspiring students who want to crack exams of CAT, MAT,
GRE.GMAT, TOEFL etc.
 It prepares students not only for the written exams but also for group
discussions and personal interviews.
 It provides excellent strategies, analysis of question papers of various
management entrance tests, tips for GDPI etc., to the MBA aspirants.
 Its circulation is 65,000 and readership is 3,00,000.

Objective:
 To know the demand of the magazine in the market.
 Visiting retailers and finding out the strength of the competitors.
 Convincing the coaching institutes for association with the magazine by
conducting NET-CAT mock test series.
 To know the expectations of the readers from the concerned magazine.

Limitations
 Respondents were in hurry so they did not respond properly.
 Some respondent don’t want to give full information.
 Non-cooperative behavior of the retailers.
 Retailers try to avoid you by calling some other day or time.
 Busy schedule of the people.
 Some information available on the website was wrong which further
made the work more difficult.
 It was very difficult to pitch up the product in rural areas as they were
not so much into the technology.
Conclusion
 The sales of Business and management Chronicle are not very good.
 B & M is loosing its customer base due to the decrease in number of
management aspirants.
 Price is not the most important factor affecting the choice of a
Brand.
 Coordination of NET-CAT is also a good idea to promote the
magazine in coaching institutes.
 The customer may switch to competitors due to better content of
magazine.
 Pratiyogita Darpan is the leading magazine in the competitive
magazine’s category.
