Moulay Youssef is my high school where I study, it is the best school
in Oulad Berhil, and it is located in the east of our town. It consists of
eight classroom and two science halls, administration, a mosque,
playground and a big library with a huge collection of books.
The team of our administration is very helpful; our teachers are so
friendly and helpful. They teach us with pleasure. Guide, support and
great care are their approaches. Our school had arranged this year a
week of nature coinciding with Cop 22 in Marrakech; it was a great
event in my school we had learned a lot from it.
I like my school very much and I’m so proud to be a student of that
school.

Oulad Berhil is a small city, and it is considered one of the towns of the most
important centers in the Taroudannt province. It is located on National
Road No. 10, just 45 kilometers north-east of Taroudannt occupies a

Morocco, a kingdom in North Africa, is a fabled destination for travelers, known for
its spectacular mountain scenery, its colorful bazaars, and its ancient capitals
at Fès and Marrakech. Even modern Moroccan sites carry a mystique: Think of
Casablanca, made famous by a motion picture. In Arabic the country’s name
is Al Mamlakah al Maghribīyah, meaning “the kingdom of the West.”
Morocco is located at the crossroads of several worlds: African, Mediterranean,
and Islamic. From these varied influences the country has forged a distinctive
culture, apparent in its arts and architecture, language, cuisine, and outlook on
the world. Spain lies directly across the Strait of Gibraltar from Morocco, only 13
km (8 mi) distant. For 44 years, from 1912 to 1956, Morocco was divided into
protectorates and ruled by France and Spain. Even today, two occupied
enclaves—Ceuta and Melilla—on the Mediterranean coast remain within
Morocco, and small islands off the coast also occupied by Spain.
Moroccan people are mainly Arabs and Amazigh or of mixed Arab and Amazigh
ancestry. Arabic and Tamazight are the official languages of the country.
French is also spoken in the cities. Morocco’s economy is based largely on
agriculture, but tourism contributes significantly.
Morocco is a constitutional monarchy, with a king as head of state and a prime
minister as head of the government. Rabat, where the king lives, is the capital
of Morocco. Casablanca, south of Rabat along the Atlantic coast, is the
country’s largest city and commercial center. Morocco borders the
Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean to its north and east and Mauritania to
its south. Also, in the south of Morocco a beautiful Sahara, a former overseas
occupied land of Spain that Morocco has liberated since 1975 by a
magnificent peaceful march; called the Green March. The country’s
southeastern border is with Algeria.
Morocco is my beloved country which is a very beautiful land with friendly and
hospitable people.
By: Fatima Ajermoune
Every Nov. 6, Moroccans celebrate the anniversary of the Green March, the largest,
longest, and most peaceful march anywhere in the world. The day is a national holiday
in Morocco, during which Moroccans recall the extraordinary events of the Green
March.
All the participants went in an atmosphere of celebration and belief in God and
patriotic values. Along the way, People sang joyfully as they made a pilgrimage to a part
of their country to show the world that all Moroccans are one when it comes to their
country.
In God they trusted, as the Moroccans marched carrying Qurans and green flags, to
show the world that all Moroccans were for peace, and that they would take back their
rights peacefully, avoiding any damage or useless wars.
Thus, Moroccans, with the belief in their national issue, could have what they were
determined to realize, as they contributed successfully to the liberation of the Moroccan
Sahara.
The Green March remains the pride of all Moroccans, and a lesson to the world in
promoting peace. It remains a symbol of determination, courage, and sacrifice for the
sake of the nation, Morocco from Tangier to Elgouira.

Mohammed VI was the second child and oldest son of Hassan II. On the day of his birth,
Mohammed was appointed Heir Apparent and Crown Prince. His father was keen on
giving him a religious and political education from an early age— at the age of four, he
started attending the Qur’anic school at the Royal Palace.
Mohammed VI completed his primary and secondary studies at Royal College and
attained his Baccalaureate in 1981, before gaining a bachelor's degree in law at the
Mohammed V University at Agdal in 1985. His research paper dealt with "the Arab-
African Union and the Strategy of the Kingdom of Morocco in matters of International
Relations". He has also frequented the Imperial College and University of Rabat. He was
furthermore appointed President of the Arab Games, and was commissioned a Colonel
Major of the Royal Moroccan Army on 26 November 1985. He served as the Coordinator
of the Offices and Services of the Royal Armed Forces until 1994.
In 1987, Mohammed VI obtained his first
Certificat d'Études Supérieures (CES) in political
sciences, and in July 1988 he obtained a Diplôme
d'Études Approfondies (DEA) in public law. In
November 1988, he trained in Brussels with
Jacques Delors, then-President of the European
Commission.
Mohammed VI obtained his PhD in law with
distinction on 29 October 1993 from the French
University of Nice Sophia Antipolis for his thesis
on "EEC-Maghreb Relations".On 12 July 1994, he
was promoted to the military rank of Major
General, and that same year he became President
of the High Council of Culture and Commander-
in-Chief of the Royal Moroccan Army.
He speaks Arabic, English, Spanish and
French
Mohammed VI also created the so-called
Instance Equité et Réconciliation (IER), which was tasked with researching human rights
violations. This move was welcomed by many as promoting democracy.
In a speech delivered on 9 March 2011, the King said that parliament would receive
"new powers that enable it to discharge its representative, legislative, and regulatory
mission". In addition, the powers of the judiciary were granted greater independence. The
king announced that he was impaneling a committee of legal scholars to produce a draft
constitution by June 2011. On 1 July, voters approved a set of political reforms proposed
by Mohammed VI.

Marrakech is one of the ancient cities of Morocco, the third largest
city in terms of population in the country; the population exceeds
one million people. Marrakech was founded in eleventh century at
the hands of the commander of Abu Bakr bin Amer Lithuanian, a
cousin of the king stationed Yusuf ibn Tachfine, who took it upon
himself - later - the follow-up city building and reconstruction, and
was the founding of the city in the time between 1066 to 1244 m
(corresponding to the years 459 to 642 e). The city of Marrakech,
the capital of the State of Murabits and uniform; this makes them
one of the four historic capitals of the Maghreb, a famous art
architectural unique in their construction and the large number of
mosques, and was dubbed the "Red City" because of the historic
buildings and mosques where the color, which is usual be covered
with a layer of mud give this attribute, which are human cultural

COP22
What is the COP22
The COP stands for the « Conference of the Parties.” It is the supreme decision-
making body of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change
(UNFCCC), opened for signature in 1992 during the Earth Summit in Rio de
Janeiro and later entered into force in 1994.
Through this instrument, the United Nations has equipped itself with an action
framework to fight global warming.
On the march towards COP22
After its entry into force in 1994, the UNFCCC Secretariat was established in
Geneva. It was then relocated to Bonn in 1995 following the “First Conference
of the Parties” (COP1) in Berlin. Since then, there have been twenty-one COPs,
with the most significant one organized in Paris on December 2015. The last
one, COP22 has taken place in Marrakech, Morocco from November 7 to 18,
2016.
The COP was created and put in place in order to structure the efforts of the
Parties to the Convention as they address climate change. The COP meets
annually to review and assess the implementation of the UNFCCC and any other
legal instruments the body adopts with the goal of reducing greenhouse gas
emissions and fighting climate change. These annual UN climate change
conferences are commonly referred to as COP.
Preserving the environment for the benefit of
present and future generations
The main objective of the Framework Convention and its related legal
instruments are to stabilize the concentration of greenhouse gases in the
atmosphere at a level that would prevent « dangerous anthropogenic interference
with the climate system. » The term « anthropogenic » refers to the effects
caused by human activity.
The Convention stipulates, »Parties should protect the climate system for the
benefit of present and future generations on the basis of equity and in
accordance with their common but differentiated responsibilities and respective
capabilities. » By: Reda Bouhadou
Environment
The environment is made up of the air we breathe, the sun, which gives us energy and heat and
the water we drink. It also consists of the plants which give us food, firewood and shade; the
animals we see and hear; and the soil in which we grow our food. It also includes the stones, hills,
rivers, our houses and schools. All above combined make the EARTH which is the mother
Environment in a wider sense.
Water:
Water is essential for life. All living things depend on water. Plants need water to grow. We need
water to live. Animals and plants are made up of water to a large extent. About 70% of a human
body is water and 90% of a cabbage is water.
Two thirds of the surface of our planet ‘Earth’ is covered with water.
Many kinds of plants and animals live in and around water. They need clean water to live. When
rubbish is in the water, harmful germs grow which cause sickness to all living things in and around
the water. We must always try to keep our water clean.
Rivers and seas are a unique freshwater habitat. This means they provide a home for many plants
and animals and they are an important resource for people who live near them.
Animals and plants:
What is a plant good for? What uses do plants have?
• Plants take in carbon dioxide and give out oxygen. Animals and humans need oxygen to breathe.
Plants give energy when they are used as food. They offer shelter to animals. Plants such as
flowers are grown for their beauty. They are also used for firewood, construction and furniture.
Some plants are grown for their fibre, like cotton. Other plants can be used as medicine. Farmers
depend on plants for money. Wild animals provide us with many products - food, and skins. Most
importantly we need the animals to keep the balance in nature. Wild animals are useful for the
development of a country. Wild animals are a beauty to see in their natural surroundings, and
people from many countries pay money to come and see them. National parks can attract tourists.
We can protect the wild animals through protecting their habitats and rearing domestic animals to
avoid hunting of the wild ones.
Why should we save environment?
1. Global warming is a serious issue. The continuous emission of carbon dioxide by thermal power
generating units is the leading cause for the surge in greenhouse gases.
2. Natural resources are limited. If the natural resources such as oil, coal, etc. are used, one day the
world may fall short of these resources.
3. High-level of environmental pollution is detrimental for human and animal health.
4. Forests are fast depleting. It may cause soil erosion and drought situation.
5. Excessive use of pesticides and contamination of soil have negatively affected soil output. These
fruits and vegetables are not very healthy for human health.
How to save environment?
1. We should save drinking water. Water is a precious component of our environment.
2. We should never pollute water.
3. The waste products should be recycled to make new items.
4. There should be a zero tolerance policy towards deforestation.
5. We can make donations to NGOs that are engaged in saving the environment.
6. Safer environmental friendly car and vehicles, like bicycles should be used more often.
7. The use of environment unfriendly materials such as plastic should be discouraged.
8. The focus should entirely shift on renewable sources of energy like solar energy would help
saving the environment from global warming.

China is stretching 3,100 miles (5,000 kilometers) from east to west and
3,400 miles (5,500 kilometers) from north to south, China is a large
country with widely varying landscapes. Its territory includes mountains,
high plateaus, sandy deserts, and dense forests. With a population of 1.3
billion, China has more people than any other country on Earth. About a
third of the population lives in cities. The rest of the people live in the
country.
Arts and crafts have a long history in China. Thousands of years ago the
Chinese were some of the first people to use silk, jade, bronze, wood, and
paper to make art. The artistic writing called calligraphy was invented in
China.
Much of China's modern beliefs and philosophies are based on the
teachings of a government official who lived nearly 3,000 years ago.
Kongfuzi, also known as Confucius, taught people the value of such
things as morality, kindness, and education.
China is a strong state ruled by a very powerful central government. A
huge workforce and lots of natural resources have driven economic change.
This has forced the communist government to permit more economic and
personal freedoms, but it has come at a huge cost to the environment.
China is the home of one of the world's oldest civilizations, but it has only
recently become a "modern" nation. In the last 20 years, China has changed
faster than any other country in the world.

Jamaican life
Jamaican People
Nowhere else on earth will you find a culture as dynamic as the one visitors
encounter in Jamaica? Its people are a mixture of the many ethnicities that
have landed on the island's shores over the past several centuries.
Weathering enslavement and oppression, the Jamaicans are survivors, and
their past is full of fascinating stories just waiting to be told.
Cultural Heritage
Whether they are the descendants of the colonists or recent immigrants from
the Middle East, people of all nationalities live and work together in Jamaica.
Cultures have been mingling on Jamaica's shores for hundreds of years. And
while this mixture inspires pride, it is also the source of Jamaica's
characteristically brassy banter that, to an outsider, might seem exotic at
times. The Taíno, who inhabited the island long before European discovery,
also left behind a cultural history.
Sport in Jamaica
Sport is an integral part of national life in
Jamaica and the island's athletes tend to
perform to a standard well above what might
ordinarily be expected of such a small
country. While the most popular local sport
is cricket, on the international stage Jamaicans
have tended to do particularly well at track
and field athletics. By: Abdessamad Ait Oukhir
A student or pupil is a learner or someone who attends an educational
institution. In its widest use, student is used for anyone who is learning,
including mid-career adults who are taking vocational education or
returning to university. When speaking about learning outside an institution,
"student" is also used to refer to someone who is learning a topic or who is
"a student of" a certain topic or person.
The first official year of schooling is called kindergarten. Kindergarten is
optional, but few students skip this level. Pre-kindergarten, also known as
"preschool" is becoming a standard of education as academic
expectations for the youngest students continue to rise. Many public
schools offer pre-kindergarten programs.
There are 12 years of mandatory schooling. The first six are solely referred
to by numbers (e.g. 1st grade, 5th grade) so students may be referred to
as 1st graders, 5th graders, then once in middle school before high school
you are ratio referred to as 1st , 2nd , 3rd middle school graders. Upon
entering high school, grades 10 through 12 (high school) also have
alternate names for students, namely common core, first year
baccalaureate, and second year baccalaureate.
Accordingly, college students are often called freshmen, juniors and
seniors (respectively), unless their undergraduate program calls for more
than the traditional 3 years.
Graduate Students
A graduate student is a student who continues his/her education after
graduation. Degrees earned in graduate programs include the Master’s
degree, a research doctoral degree, or a first professional degree.
Vocational School
Students attending vocational school focus on their jobs and learning how
to work in specific fields of work. A vocational program typically takes
much less time to complete than the other programs, lasting 12–24 months.
Liberal Arts that are required in three-year Universities are less important to
these students because the skills necessary for their careers take
precedence in order for a timely completion of the program. The
International Students' Day is on November 17.

Eid Al-adha
1_Celebrated at the end of the time of pilgrimage.
Eid al-Adha is celebrated directly after the Hajj, or pilgrimage to Mecca.
2_Attend an Eid prayer.
As on Eid al-Fitr, Muslims, or sometimes only the men, usually attend an Eid
prayer followed by a sermon early in the morning. Everyone does their best to
dress up and look presentable, showers or bathes in the morning, and wears new
clothes if they can afford to purchase them.
3_Sacrifice a four-legged animal.
Each individual or household who can afford to do so should sacrifice a sheep,
cow, goat, or camel on Eid al-Adha, to commemorate the animal Allah sent to
Abraham to replace his son Ishmael as a sacrifice. The animal should be healthy,
and halal. These rules must be followed when slaughtering the animal.
4_Cook and distribute the meat.
The meat from the sacrificed animal is cooked, using any method you prefer.
One third of it is eaten by the household or group that sacrificed. One third of it
is given to extended family and friends, often at a separate feast. One third of it
is given to poor or hungry people.
5_Find another option if sacrifice is not feasible.
Many Western countries ban the slaughter of animals outside a slaughterhouse,
and in some cities finding an animal can be difficult.
6- Visit family and friends.
Mostly in the afternoon, Muslims visit their relatives as they should do in these
religious occasions.

File about the player CRISTIANO RONALDO
Cristiano Ronaldo, in full Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos
Aveiro (born February 5, 1985, Funchal,
Madeira, Portugal), Portuguese football (soccer) forward
who was one of the greatest players of his generation
Ronaldo’s father, José Dinis Aveiro, was the equipment
manager for the local club Andorinha. (The name
Ronaldo was added to Cristiano’s name in honour of his
father’s favourite character, Ronald Reagan, who was
U.S. president at the time of Cristiano’s birth.) At age 15
Ronaldo was diagnosed with a heart condition that
necessitated surgery, but he was sidelined only briefly
and made a full recovery. He first played for Clube
Desportivo Nacional of Madeira and then transferred to
Sporting Club of Portugal (known as Sporting Lisbon),
where he played for that club’s various youth teams
before making his debut on Sporting’s first team in 2002.
A tall player at 6 feet 1 inch (1.85 metres), Ronaldo was a formidable athlete on the
pitch. Originally a right-winger, he developed into a forward with a free-reined
attacking style. He was able to mesmerize opponents with a sleight of foot that made
sufficient space for openings in opposing defenses.
After a successful season with Sporting that brought the young player to the attention of
Europe’s biggest football clubs, Renaldo signed with English powerhouse Manchester
United in 2003. He was an instant sensation and soon came to be regarded as one of the
best forwards in the game. His finest season with United came in 2007–08, when he
scored 42 League and Cup goals and earned the Golden Shoe award as Europe’s leading
scorer, with 31 League goals. After helping United to a Champions League title in May
2008, Ronaldo captured Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA)
World Player of the Year honours for his stellar 2007–08 season. He also led United to
an appearance in the 2009 Champions League final, which they lost to FC Barcelona.
Soon thereafter Ronaldo was sold to Spain’s Real Madrid—a club with which he had
long been rumoured to want to play—for a then record £80 million (about $131 million)
transfer fee. His scoring prowess continued with his new team, and he netted the most
goals (40) in La Liga history during the 2010–11 season (his record was broken the
following season by his rival Lionel Messi of Barcelona). In 2011–12 Ronaldo helped
Madrid capture a La Liga championship and scored a personal-best 46 goals during the
League season. He scored a total of 66 goals in 56 appearances with Madrid and the
Portuguese national team in 2013 to earn his second world player of the year award (the
FIFA World Player of the Year was renamed the FIFA Ballon d’Or in 2010).
In 2014 he scored 52 goals in 43 games and led Madrid to a Champions
League title, which resulted in Ronaldo capturing another Ballon
d’Or award. In 2014–15 he netted 48 goals to lead La Liga in
scoring. Ronaldo netted his 324th goal as a member of Real in
October 2015 to become the club’s all-time leading goal scorer. He
scored 35 La Liga goals in 2015–16 and helped Real win its record
11th Champions League title, and in December 2016 he won a fourth
career Ballon d’Or for his accomplishments.

A birthday is an occasion when a person or institution celebrates the anniversary of their
birth. Birthdays are celebrated in numerous cultures, often with a gift, and a party. I
celebrate my birthday every year with my family and my friends.
When and where I have the birthday party: The sooner I choose a date the sooner I
can get started with planning other elements of the party. I consult with my family to
determine a good time for the party.
I create a guest list for the party: A guest list will help me ensure that no one is
forgotten when sending out invitations. Having a number of guests in mind enables me
to determine how much food and drink will I need to be provided.
Where I have the party: I always celebrate it at home.
The party details: I consider the details of the party with my mother.
I purchase and I send out invitations: It is better to send out the invitations about
3-4 weeks in advance of the party in order to give people enough time to plan for it. I
send out the invitations after I have decided on the earlier details ensuring that I have
the guest list secured and that I have decided on whether to have a themed party.
Create a plan for the food and beverages: I decide what type of food will be the best
for the party. I make sure that I plan for enough food and drink to cater to all of the
guests.
I gather decorations for the party: I make a simple decoration; I like balloons,
streamers, and confetti.

Plato (428-347 B.C.) is one of the most important figures of the
Ancient Greek world and the entire history of Western thought.
In his written dialogues he conveyed and expanded on the ideas
and techniques of his teacher Socrates. The Academy he
founded was by some accounts the world’s first university and
in it he trained his greatest student, the equally influential
philosopher Aristotle. Plato’s recurring fascination was the
distinction between ideal forms and everyday experience, and
how it played out both for individuals and for societies. In the
“Republic,” his most famous work, he envisioned a civilization
governed not by lowly appetites but by the pure wisdom of a
philosopher-king.
Some of Plato’s quotes:
-“Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a harder battle.”
-“Wise men speak because they have something to say; fools because they have to say
something.”
-“We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men
are afraid of the light.”
-“Only the dead have seen the end of war.”
-“The price good men pay for indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by evil men.”
-“I am the wisest man alive; for I know one thing, and that is that I know nothing.”
Aristotle, (384-347 BC). He was a Greek philosopher and
scientist born in the city of Stagira, Chalkidice, on the northern
periphery of Classical Greece. His father, Nicomachus, died
when Aristotle was a child, whereafter Proxenus of
Atarneus became his guardian. At seventeen or eighteen years
of age, he joined Plato's Academy in Athens and remained
there until the age of thirty-seven
Some Aristotle quotes:
“Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.”
“It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a
thought without accepting it.”
“What is a friend? A single soul dwelling in two bodies.”
“Hope is a waking dream.”

Proverbs
Your life does not get better by chance it gets better by change.
You become strong because of the pain you have faced and won.
Move and the way will open.
For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness.
Every path has its puddle.
The only place you’ll find success before work is in the dictionary.
God helps those who help themselves.
Good words cost nothing but are worth much…
The greatest gift of life is friendship.
Friendship is seldom lasting but between equals.
Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans.
Life goes on no matter what we try to do to it.
Death is certain. Life is uncertain.
You may find the worst enemy or best friend in yourself.
Every cloud has a silver lining.
The best things in life are free.
“A friend is one that knows you as you are , understands where you
have been ,accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you
to grow” William Shakespeare

The sport of basketball is fun for any person young or old.
Basketball is a great way of exercise and a great way to have
fun with friends and possibly make some new ones. I love to
watch the game. Basketball is a very entertaining sport and can
be played by anyone. Basketball has many positive things about
it, based on my opinion. Basketball is known as a good pastime
in many people’s eyes. But can also be seen as a profession for
many others. Basketball is in my opinion the best thing I can do
with my friends while burning a few calories. I see basketball is
an easy way to have fun rather than just sitting on the couch all
day playing video games or watching television. One reason I
love basketball for is because you need only yourself to play the
game or you can play with teammates. I prefer to have others to
play with rather than just playing alone.
To me there is not only one word that I can describe basketball
with.
By: Kaouthar Maskal.
There was a dense forest on the sides of a mountain. Many kinds of animals
lived in the forest. A deer was eating grass and leaves with her two young ones.
The young ones wandered happily here and there. The deer followed her fawns.
The young ones entered a cave. The deer was frightened. It was a tiger’s cave.
There were bones of dead animals all over the cave. Fortunately, the tiger was
not inside the cave at the time.
The deer was trying to lead her young ones out of the cave. AT that time she
heard a loud roar. She saw the tiger at a distance. The tiger was coming
towards the cave. It was dangerous to go out of the cave now. She thought of a
plan. The tiger had come closer to the cave. The deer raised her voice and
shouted, “My deer young children do not weep. I shall capture a tiger for you to
eat. You can have a good dinner." The tiger heard these words. He was
disturbed. He said to himself, “Whose is that strange voice from the cave? A
dangerous animal is staying inside to capture me. I shall run away to escape
death." So saying, the tiger began to run away from there as fast as possible.
A jackal saw the running tiger. “Why are you running in great fear?" the jackal
asked. The tiger said, “My friend, a powerful and fierce animal has come to stay
in my cave. The young ones are crying for a tiger to eat. The mother is
promising to capture a tiger for them. So, I am running away in great fear."The
cunning jackal was now sure. The tiger was a coward. It said to the tiger. “Do
not be afraid. No animal is fiercer or stronger than a tiger. Let us go together to
find out." But the tiger said, “I do not want to take a chance. You may run
away. I will be left alone to die. So, I will not come with you." The jackal said,
“Trust me. Let us knot our tails together. Then I will not be able to leave you."
The tiger agreed unwillingly to this proposal. The jackal tied their tails in a knot.
Now they walked towards the cave together.
The deer saw the jackal and the tiger coming together. She again raised her
voice. She shouted towards her children standing inside the cave, “My dear
children, I had requested her friend, the clever jackal, to capture a tiger for us.
Now look the jackal has captured a tiger for us. He has tied the tiger’s tail to his
tail. This is to prevent the tiger from escaping. You will soon have the tiger for
our dinner."
The tiger heard this. He was shocked. He was sure now. The jackal cheated him.
So, the tiger decided to escape from the terrible animal standing inside his cave.
He started running. He forgot about the jackal. He dragged the jackal over rocks
and thorns. In the mad escape the jackal was caught between two rocks. The
tiger pulled with all his might. His tail got cut. The jackal was killed in this
incident. The tail-less tiger ran away to another part of the forest.
The deer and her young ones left the tiger’s cave. They joined their herd safely.

I'm a hot air balloon that could go to space
With the air, like I don't care, baby, by the way
(Because I'm happy)
Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof
(Because I'm happy)
Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth
(Because I'm happy)
Clap along if you know what happiness is to you
(Because I'm happy)
Clap along if you feel like that's what you wanna
do
Here come bad news, talking this and that
(Yeah!)
Well, give me all you got, don't hold it back
(Yeah!)
Well, I should probably warn ya, I'll be just fine
(Yeah!)
No offense to you, don't waste your time, here's
why...
(Because I'm happy)
Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof
(Because I'm happy)
Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth
(Because I'm happy)
Clap along if you know what happiness is to you
(Because I'm happy)
Clap along if you feel like that's what you wanna
do
Bring me down
Can't nothing
Bring me down
My level's too high to
Bring me down
Can't nothing bring me down, I said...
Bring me down
Can't nothing
Bring me down
My level's too high to
Bring me down
Can't nothing bring me down, I said...
(Because I'm happy)
Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof
(Because I'm happy)
Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth
(Because I'm happy)
Clap along if you know what happiness is to you
(Because I'm happy)
Clap along if you feel like that's what you wanna
do

  • 3. Moulay Youssef is my high school where I study, it is the best school in Oulad Berhil, and it is located in the east of our town. It consists of eight classroom and two science halls, administration, a mosque, playground and a big library with a huge collection of books. The team of our administration is very helpful; our teachers are so friendly and helpful. They teach us with pleasure. Guide, support and great care are their approaches. Our school had arranged this year a week of nature coinciding with Cop 22 in Marrakech; it was a great event in my school we had learned a lot from it. I like my school very much and I’m so proud to be a student of that school. By: Najwa Aziz
  • 4. Oulad Berhil is a small city, and it is considered one of the towns of the most important centers in the Taroudannt province. It is located on National Road No. 10, just 45 kilometers north-east of Taroudannt occupies a privileged position among the Souss Massa region. It is bordered by a group of villages like Tafengolt in the east and Talkjont and Ookelal north of the west. It is bordered in the south by th village of Tinzert and Sidi Ouaziz, subsidiary and administratively connected to Oulad Berhil and Taroudannt province. Naming of the Oulad Berhil belongs to a person named Borahil for the honest the blessed people of Sidi Abdallah bin Mubarak Alaquaoui. It was inhabited by the children of Borios tribe and the children of Yahya, and then moved to the upper Almnabha and settled in. The center and the city of Oulad Berhil is in the Souss basin in the lower southern slopes of the Atlas Mountains, in the big high-Sous River not far from the Anti-Atlas Mountain. By: Saad Razgui
  • 5. Morocco, a kingdom in North Africa, is a fabled destination for travelers, known for its spectacular mountain scenery, its colorful bazaars, and its ancient capitals at Fès and Marrakech. Even modern Moroccan sites carry a mystique: Think of Casablanca, made famous by a motion picture. In Arabic the country’s name is Al Mamlakah al Maghribīyah, meaning “the kingdom of the West.” Morocco is located at the crossroads of several worlds: African, Mediterranean, and Islamic. From these varied influences the country has forged a distinctive culture, apparent in its arts and architecture, language, cuisine, and outlook on the world. Spain lies directly across the Strait of Gibraltar from Morocco, only 13 km (8 mi) distant. For 44 years, from 1912 to 1956, Morocco was divided into protectorates and ruled by France and Spain. Even today, two occupied enclaves—Ceuta and Melilla—on the Mediterranean coast remain within Morocco, and small islands off the coast also occupied by Spain. Moroccan people are mainly Arabs and Amazigh or of mixed Arab and Amazigh ancestry. Arabic and Tamazight are the official languages of the country. French is also spoken in the cities. Morocco’s economy is based largely on agriculture, but tourism contributes significantly. Morocco is a constitutional monarchy, with a king as head of state and a prime minister as head of the government. Rabat, where the king lives, is the capital of Morocco. Casablanca, south of Rabat along the Atlantic coast, is the country’s largest city and commercial center. Morocco borders the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean to its north and east and Mauritania to its south. Also, in the south of Morocco a beautiful Sahara, a former overseas occupied land of Spain that Morocco has liberated since 1975 by a magnificent peaceful march; called the Green March. The country’s southeastern border is with Algeria. Morocco is my beloved country which is a very beautiful land with friendly and hospitable people. By: Fatima Ajermoune
  • 6. Every Nov. 6, Moroccans celebrate the anniversary of the Green March, the largest, longest, and most peaceful march anywhere in the world. The day is a national holiday in Morocco, during which Moroccans recall the extraordinary events of the Green March. All the participants went in an atmosphere of celebration and belief in God and patriotic values. Along the way, People sang joyfully as they made a pilgrimage to a part of their country to show the world that all Moroccans are one when it comes to their country. In God they trusted, as the Moroccans marched carrying Qurans and green flags, to show the world that all Moroccans were for peace, and that they would take back their rights peacefully, avoiding any damage or useless wars. Thus, Moroccans, with the belief in their national issue, could have what they were determined to realize, as they contributed successfully to the liberation of the Moroccan Sahara. The Green March remains the pride of all Moroccans, and a lesson to the world in promoting peace. It remains a symbol of determination, courage, and sacrifice for the sake of the nation, Morocco from Tangier to Elgouira. By: Nouhayla Massouad
  • 7. Mohammed VI was the second child and oldest son of Hassan II. On the day of his birth, Mohammed was appointed Heir Apparent and Crown Prince. His father was keen on giving him a religious and political education from an early age— at the age of four, he started attending the Qur’anic school at the Royal Palace. Mohammed VI completed his primary and secondary studies at Royal College and attained his Baccalaureate in 1981, before gaining a bachelor's degree in law at the Mohammed V University at Agdal in 1985. His research paper dealt with "the Arab- African Union and the Strategy of the Kingdom of Morocco in matters of International Relations". He has also frequented the Imperial College and University of Rabat. He was furthermore appointed President of the Arab Games, and was commissioned a Colonel Major of the Royal Moroccan Army on 26 November 1985. He served as the Coordinator of the Offices and Services of the Royal Armed Forces until 1994. In 1987, Mohammed VI obtained his first Certificat d'Études Supérieures (CES) in political sciences, and in July 1988 he obtained a Diplôme d'Études Approfondies (DEA) in public law. In November 1988, he trained in Brussels with Jacques Delors, then-President of the European Commission. Mohammed VI obtained his PhD in law with distinction on 29 October 1993 from the French University of Nice Sophia Antipolis for his thesis on "EEC-Maghreb Relations".On 12 July 1994, he was promoted to the military rank of Major General, and that same year he became President of the High Council of Culture and Commander- in-Chief of the Royal Moroccan Army. He speaks Arabic, English, Spanish and French Mohammed VI also created the so-called Instance Equité et Réconciliation (IER), which was tasked with researching human rights violations. This move was welcomed by many as promoting democracy. In a speech delivered on 9 March 2011, the King said that parliament would receive "new powers that enable it to discharge its representative, legislative, and regulatory mission". In addition, the powers of the judiciary were granted greater independence. The king announced that he was impaneling a committee of legal scholars to produce a draft constitution by June 2011. On 1 July, voters approved a set of political reforms proposed by Mohammed VI. By: Ahmed Ait Salem
  • 8. Marrakech is one of the ancient cities of Morocco, the third largest city in terms of population in the country; the population exceeds one million people. Marrakech was founded in eleventh century at the hands of the commander of Abu Bakr bin Amer Lithuanian, a cousin of the king stationed Yusuf ibn Tachfine, who took it upon himself - later - the follow-up city building and reconstruction, and was the founding of the city in the time between 1066 to 1244 m (corresponding to the years 459 to 642 e). The city of Marrakech, the capital of the State of Murabits and uniform; this makes them one of the four historic capitals of the Maghreb, a famous art architectural unique in their construction and the large number of mosques, and was dubbed the "Red City" because of the historic buildings and mosques where the color, which is usual be covered with a layer of mud give this attribute, which are human cultural sites by UNESCO since 1997. By: Saad Razgui
  • 9. COP22 What is the COP22 The COP stands for the « Conference of the Parties.” It is the supreme decision- making body of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), opened for signature in 1992 during the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro and later entered into force in 1994. Through this instrument, the United Nations has equipped itself with an action framework to fight global warming. On the march towards COP22 After its entry into force in 1994, the UNFCCC Secretariat was established in Geneva. It was then relocated to Bonn in 1995 following the “First Conference of the Parties” (COP1) in Berlin. Since then, there have been twenty-one COPs, with the most significant one organized in Paris on December 2015. The last one, COP22 has taken place in Marrakech, Morocco from November 7 to 18, 2016. The COP was created and put in place in order to structure the efforts of the Parties to the Convention as they address climate change. The COP meets annually to review and assess the implementation of the UNFCCC and any other legal instruments the body adopts with the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and fighting climate change. These annual UN climate change conferences are commonly referred to as COP. Preserving the environment for the benefit of present and future generations The main objective of the Framework Convention and its related legal instruments are to stabilize the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere at a level that would prevent « dangerous anthropogenic interference with the climate system. » The term « anthropogenic » refers to the effects caused by human activity. The Convention stipulates, »Parties should protect the climate system for the benefit of present and future generations on the basis of equity and in accordance with their common but differentiated responsibilities and respective capabilities. » By: Reda Bouhadou
  • 10. Environment The environment is made up of the air we breathe, the sun, which gives us energy and heat and the water we drink. It also consists of the plants which give us food, firewood and shade; the animals we see and hear; and the soil in which we grow our food. It also includes the stones, hills, rivers, our houses and schools. All above combined make the EARTH which is the mother Environment in a wider sense. Water: Water is essential for life. All living things depend on water. Plants need water to grow. We need water to live. Animals and plants are made up of water to a large extent. About 70% of a human body is water and 90% of a cabbage is water. Two thirds of the surface of our planet ‘Earth’ is covered with water. Many kinds of plants and animals live in and around water. They need clean water to live. When rubbish is in the water, harmful germs grow which cause sickness to all living things in and around the water. We must always try to keep our water clean. Rivers and seas are a unique freshwater habitat. This means they provide a home for many plants and animals and they are an important resource for people who live near them. Animals and plants: What is a plant good for? What uses do plants have? • Plants take in carbon dioxide and give out oxygen. Animals and humans need oxygen to breathe. Plants give energy when they are used as food. They offer shelter to animals. Plants such as flowers are grown for their beauty. They are also used for firewood, construction and furniture. Some plants are grown for their fibre, like cotton. Other plants can be used as medicine. Farmers depend on plants for money. Wild animals provide us with many products - food, and skins. Most importantly we need the animals to keep the balance in nature. Wild animals are useful for the development of a country. Wild animals are a beauty to see in their natural surroundings, and people from many countries pay money to come and see them. National parks can attract tourists. We can protect the wild animals through protecting their habitats and rearing domestic animals to avoid hunting of the wild ones. Why should we save environment? 1. Global warming is a serious issue. The continuous emission of carbon dioxide by thermal power generating units is the leading cause for the surge in greenhouse gases. 2. Natural resources are limited. If the natural resources such as oil, coal, etc. are used, one day the world may fall short of these resources. 3. High-level of environmental pollution is detrimental for human and animal health. 4. Forests are fast depleting. It may cause soil erosion and drought situation. 5. Excessive use of pesticides and contamination of soil have negatively affected soil output. These fruits and vegetables are not very healthy for human health. 8. The focus should entirely shift on renewable sources of energy like solar energy would help saving the environment from global warming. By: Hakima Bouzid
  • 11. China is stretching 3,100 miles (5,000 kilometers) from east to west and 3,400 miles (5,500 kilometers) from north to south, China is a large country with widely varying landscapes. Its territory includes mountains, high plateaus, sandy deserts, and dense forests. With a population of 1.3 billion, China has more people than any other country on Earth. About a third of the population lives in cities. The rest of the people live in the country. Arts and crafts have a long history in China. Thousands of years ago the Chinese were some of the first people to use silk, jade, bronze, wood, and paper to make art. The artistic writing called calligraphy was invented in China. Much of China's modern beliefs and philosophies are based on the teachings of a government official who lived nearly 3,000 years ago. Kongfuzi, also known as Confucius, taught people the value of such things as morality, kindness, and education. China is a strong state ruled by a very powerful central government. A huge workforce and lots of natural resources have driven economic change. This has forced the communist government to permit more economic and personal freedoms, but it has come at a huge cost to the environment. China is the home of one of the world's oldest civilizations, but it has only recently become a "modern" nation. In the last 20 years, China has changed faster than any other country in the world. • 12. Jamaican life Jamaican People Nowhere else on earth will you find a culture as dynamic as the one visitors encounter in Jamaica? Its people are a mixture of the many ethnicities that have landed on the island's shores over the past several centuries. Weathering enslavement and oppression, the Jamaicans are survivors, and their past is full of fascinating stories just waiting to be told. Cultural Heritage Whether they are the descendants of the colonists or recent immigrants from the Middle East, people of all nationalities live and work together in Jamaica. Cultures have been mingling on Jamaica's shores for hundreds of years. And while this mixture inspires pride, it is also the source of Jamaica's characteristically brassy banter that, to an outsider, might seem exotic at times. The Taíno, who inhabited the island long before European discovery, also left behind a cultural history. Sport in Jamaica Sport is an integral part of national life in Jamaica and the island's athletes tend to perform to a standard well above what might ordinarily be expected of such a small country. While the most popular local sport is cricket, on the international stage Jamaicans have tended to do particularly well at track and field athletics. By: Abdessamad Ait Oukhir
  • 13. A student or pupil is a learner or someone who attends an educational institution. In its widest use, student is used for anyone who is learning, including mid-career adults who are taking vocational education or returning to university. When speaking about learning outside an institution, "student" is also used to refer to someone who is learning a topic or who is "a student of" a certain topic or person. The first official year of schooling is called kindergarten. Kindergarten is optional, but few students skip this level. Pre-kindergarten, also known as "preschool" is becoming a standard of education as academic expectations for the youngest students continue to rise. Many public schools offer pre-kindergarten programs. There are 12 years of mandatory schooling. The first six are solely referred to by numbers (e.g. 1st grade, 5th grade) so students may be referred to as 1st graders, 5th graders, then once in middle school before high school you are ratio referred to as 1st , 2nd , 3rd middle school graders. Upon entering high school, grades 10 through 12 (high school) also have alternate names for students, namely common core, first year baccalaureate, and second year baccalaureate. Accordingly, college students are often called freshmen, juniors and seniors (respectively), unless their undergraduate program calls for more than the traditional 3 years. Graduate Students A graduate student is a student who continues his/her education after graduation. Degrees earned in graduate programs include the Master’s degree, a research doctoral degree, or a first professional degree. Vocational School Students attending vocational school focus on their jobs and learning how to work in specific fields of work. A vocational program typically takes much less time to complete than the other programs, lasting 12–24 months. Liberal Arts that are required in three-year Universities are less important to these students because the skills necessary for their careers take precedence in order for a timely completion of the program. The International Students' Day is on November 17. Asma Abde Souad Errhali
  • 14. Eid Al-adha 1_Celebrated at the end of the time of pilgrimage. Eid al-Adha is celebrated directly after the Hajj, or pilgrimage to Mecca. 2_Attend an Eid prayer. As on Eid al-Fitr, Muslims, or sometimes only the men, usually attend an Eid prayer followed by a sermon early in the morning. Everyone does their best to dress up and look presentable, showers or bathes in the morning, and wears new clothes if they can afford to purchase them. 3_Sacrifice a four-legged animal. Each individual or household who can afford to do so should sacrifice a sheep, cow, goat, or camel on Eid al-Adha, to commemorate the animal Allah sent to Abraham to replace his son Ishmael as a sacrifice. The animal should be healthy, and halal. These rules must be followed when slaughtering the animal. 4_Cook and distribute the meat. The meat from the sacrificed animal is cooked, using any method you prefer. One third of it is eaten by the household or group that sacrificed. One third of it is given to extended family and friends, often at a separate feast. One third of it is given to poor or hungry people. 5_Find another option if sacrifice is not feasible. Many Western countries ban the slaughter of animals outside a slaughterhouse, and in some cities finding an animal can be difficult. 6- Visit family and friends. Mostly in the afternoon, Muslims visit their relatives as they should do in these religious occasions. By: Reda Bouhadou
  • 15. File about the player CRISTIANO RONALDO Cristiano Ronaldo, in full Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro (born February 5, 1985, Funchal, Madeira, Portugal), Portuguese football (soccer) forward who was one of the greatest players of his generation Ronaldo’s father, José Dinis Aveiro, was the equipment manager for the local club Andorinha. (The name Ronaldo was added to Cristiano’s name in honour of his father’s favourite character, Ronald Reagan, who was U.S. president at the time of Cristiano’s birth.) At age 15 Ronaldo was diagnosed with a heart condition that necessitated surgery, but he was sidelined only briefly and made a full recovery. He first played for Clube Desportivo Nacional of Madeira and then transferred to Sporting Club of Portugal (known as Sporting Lisbon), where he played for that club’s various youth teams before making his debut on Sporting’s first team in 2002. A tall player at 6 feet 1 inch (1.85 metres), Ronaldo was a formidable athlete on the pitch. Originally a right-winger, he developed into a forward with a free-reined attacking style. He was able to mesmerize opponents with a sleight of foot that made sufficient space for openings in opposing defenses. After a successful season with Sporting that brought the young player to the attention of Europe’s biggest football clubs, Renaldo signed with English powerhouse Manchester United in 2003. He was an instant sensation and soon came to be regarded as one of the best forwards in the game. His finest season with United came in 2007–08, when he scored 42 League and Cup goals and earned the Golden Shoe award as Europe’s leading scorer, with 31 League goals. After helping United to a Champions League title in May 2008, Ronaldo captured Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) World Player of the Year honours for his stellar 2007–08 season. He also led United to an appearance in the 2009 Champions League final, which they lost to FC Barcelona. Soon thereafter Ronaldo was sold to Spain’s Real Madrid—a club with which he had long been rumoured to want to play—for a then record £80 million (about $131 million) transfer fee. His scoring prowess continued with his new team, and he netted the most goals (40) in La Liga history during the 2010–11 season (his record was broken the following season by his rival Lionel Messi of Barcelona). In 2011–12 Ronaldo helped Madrid capture a La Liga championship and scored a personal-best 46 goals during the League season. He scored a total of 66 goals in 56 appearances with Madrid and the Portuguese national team in 2013 to earn his second world player of the year award (the FIFA World Player of the Year was renamed the FIFA Ballon d’Or in 2010). In 2014 he scored 52 goals in 43 games and led Madrid to a Champions League title, which resulted in Ronaldo capturing another Ballon d’Or award. In 2014–15 he netted 48 goals to lead La Liga in scoring. Ronaldo netted his 324th goal as a member of Real in October 2015 to become the club’s all-time leading goal scorer. He scored 35 La Liga goals in 2015–16 and helped Real win its record 11th Champions League title, and in December 2016 he won a fourth career Ballon d’Or for his accomplishments. By: Asma Belkhiat
  • 16. A birthday is an occasion when a person or institution celebrates the anniversary of their birth. Birthdays are celebrated in numerous cultures, often with a gift, and a party. I celebrate my birthday every year with my family and my friends. When and where I have the birthday party: The sooner I choose a date the sooner I can get started with planning other elements of the party. I consult with my family to determine a good time for the party. I create a guest list for the party: A guest list will help me ensure that no one is forgotten when sending out invitations. Having a number of guests in mind enables me to determine how much food and drink will I need to be provided. Where I have the party: I always celebrate it at home. The party details: I consider the details of the party with my mother. I purchase and I send out invitations: It is better to send out the invitations about 3-4 weeks in advance of the party in order to give people enough time to plan for it. I send out the invitations after I have decided on the earlier details ensuring that I have the guest list secured and that I have decided on whether to have a themed party. Create a plan for the food and beverages: I decide what type of food will be the best for the party. I make sure that I plan for enough food and drink to cater to all of the guests. I gather decorations for the party: I make a simple decoration; I like balloons, streamers, and confetti. By: Hakima Chafik
  • 17. Plato (428-347 B.C.) is one of the most important figures of the Ancient Greek world and the entire history of Western thought. In his written dialogues he conveyed and expanded on the ideas and techniques of his teacher Socrates. The Academy he founded was by some accounts the world’s first university and in it he trained his greatest student, the equally influential philosopher Aristotle. Plato’s recurring fascination was the distinction between ideal forms and everyday experience, and how it played out both for individuals and for societies. In the “Republic,” his most famous work, he envisioned a civilization governed not by lowly appetites but by the pure wisdom of a philosopher-king. Some of Plato’s quotes: -“Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a harder battle.” -“Wise men speak because they have something to say; fools because they have to say something.” -“We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.” -“Only the dead have seen the end of war.” -“The price good men pay for indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by evil men.” -“I am the wisest man alive; for I know one thing, and that is that I know nothing.” Aristotle, (384-347 BC). He was a Greek philosopher and scientist born in the city of Stagira, Chalkidice, on the northern periphery of Classical Greece. His father, Nicomachus, died when Aristotle was a child, whereafter Proxenus of Atarneus became his guardian. At seventeen or eighteen years of age, he joined Plato's Academy in Athens and remained there until the age of thirty-seven Some Aristotle quotes: “Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.” “It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.” “What is a friend? A single soul dwelling in two bodies.” “Hope is a waking dream.” By: Mehdi Salhi
  • 18. Proverbs Your life does not get better by chance it gets better by change. You become strong because of the pain you have faced and won. Move and the way will open. For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness. Every path has its puddle. The only place you’ll find success before work is in the dictionary. God helps those who help themselves. Good words cost nothing but are worth much… The greatest gift of life is friendship. “A friend is one that knows you as you are , understands where you have been ,accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you to grow” William Shakespeare By: Meryam Elaâboubi

I love to watch the game. Basketball is a very entertaining sport and can be played by anyone. Basketball has many positive things about it, based on my opinion. Basketball is known as a good pastime in many people’s eyes. But can also be seen as a profession for many others. Basketball is in my opinion the best thing I can do with my friends while burning a few calories. I see basketball is an easy way to have fun rather than just sitting on the couch all day playing video games or watching television. One reason I love basketball for is because you need only yourself to play the game or you can play with teammates. I prefer to have others to play with rather than just playing alone. To me there is not only one word that I can describe basketball with. By: Kaouthar Maskal.
  • 20. There was a dense forest on the sides of a mountain. Many kinds of animals lived in the forest. A deer was eating grass and leaves with her two young ones. The young ones wandered happily here and there. The deer followed her fawns. The young ones entered a cave. The deer was frightened. It was a tiger’s cave. There were bones of dead animals all over the cave. Fortunately, the tiger was not inside the cave at the time. The deer was trying to lead her young ones out of the cave. AT that time she heard a loud roar. She saw the tiger at a distance. The tiger was coming towards the cave. It was dangerous to go out of the cave now. She thought of a plan. The tiger had come closer to the cave. The deer raised her voice and shouted, “My deer young children do not weep. I shall capture a tiger for you to eat. You can have a good dinner." The tiger heard these words. He was disturbed. He said to himself, “Whose is that strange voice from the cave? A dangerous animal is staying inside to capture me. I shall run away to escape death." So saying, the tiger began to run away from there as fast as possible. A jackal saw the running tiger. “Why are you running in great fear?" the jackal asked. The tiger said, “My friend, a powerful and fierce animal has come to stay in my cave. The young ones are crying for a tiger to eat. The mother is promising to capture a tiger for them. So, I am running away in great fear."The cunning jackal was now sure. The tiger was a coward. It said to the tiger. “Do not be afraid. No animal is fiercer or stronger than a tiger. Let us go together to find out." But the tiger said, “I do not want to take a chance. You may run away. I will be left alone to die. So, I will not come with you." The jackal said, “Trust me. Let us knot our tails together. Then I will not be able to leave you." The tiger agreed unwillingly to this proposal. The jackal tied their tails in a knot. Now they walked towards the cave together. The deer saw the jackal and the tiger coming together. She again raised her voice. She shouted towards her children standing inside the cave, “My dear children, I had requested her friend, the clever jackal, to capture a tiger for us. Now look the jackal has captured a tiger for us. He has tied the tiger’s tail to his tail. This is to prevent the tiger from escaping. You will soon have the tiger for our dinner." The tiger heard this. He was shocked. He was sure now. The jackal cheated him. So, the tiger decided to escape from the terrible animal standing inside his cave. He started running. He forgot about the jackal. He dragged the jackal over rocks and thorns. In the mad escape the jackal was caught between two rocks. The tiger pulled with all his might. His tail got cut. The jackal was killed in this incident. The tail-less tiger ran away to another part of the forest. The deer and her young ones left the tiger’s cave. They joined their herd safely.
