2. Objective
• To promote unity within the community
• Develop great leaders
• Encourage its members to achieve high
social, intellectual, political, and educational standards.
3. Purpose
• To uplift and empower males in the community- helping them unite
making prominent decisions in their communities.
4. History
• Founded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on May 18, 2007.
• The organization was formed from to other groups, Nu Alpha of Baton
Rouge, LA located on Louisiana State University campus and Alpha Tu
of Baton Rouge, LA Located on Southern University Campus.
• Incorapated on May 13, 2009 in the State of Louisiana
• Charter Chapter on the campus of Gambling State University and
Louisiana State University at Monroe in 2012.

• Two Members from Apollo Temple
• Intake Process Chairman
6. Elected Position
• Members have to be elected in order to hold an officer positions by
two-thirds votes.
• A two-thirds vote means at least two-thirds of the votes cast (not
counting members who abstain) at a legal meeting with a quorum
being present.
• All the business of the organization is done with two-third votes.
7. Officers Term
• Server two consecutive terms.
• Term starts January first and end on December thirty first.
8. The Change: Chartering Chapters
• Agree upon at the organization at the Constitution Convention in May
2012.
• Chapter was chartered on January 2013 in Baton Rouge, LA.
• The objective was to expend the organization.
• Members had mix option about charting chapters.
9. Chartering Chapter: The Problem
• Key Members was left and the organization.
• Members were against each other.
• New National President
• Lack of communication.

• Lance Allen
• One of the founding fathers of the organization.
• Good networker
• Problem solver
11. Communication fix it!
• “Communication is both an expressive, message-sending, and a
receptive.”( Lazarus)
• Communication clear up unanswered questions.
• Facebook groups was form.
• Yahoo groups was form.
12. Overall Effectiveness of Chartering
Chapter
• Alpha Professional Chapter in Baton Rouge on the campus of
Southern University,
• Beta Chapter in New Orleans, Louisiana on the campus of Southern
University in New Orleans.
• Effective Communication
• Effective planning
13. My Viewpoint
• The overall effectiveness of the larders and other change agents in
guiding the organization through charting chapter was 7.5 on a ten
point scale.
• Many of the members was part of the Alpha Professional Chapter and
was not in agreement of the charting of new chapters.
• Although adversity challenge the organization, the members saw the
vision of charting chapters a success
