STRENGTHS
• What do you do better than anyone else?
Our organization makes the local community an integral part
of our community work we do. Most of other organizations
impose solutions that they believe are best to people without
consulting them.
• What makes you unique?
We are a team of young, vibrant and energetic young people
and we are drawn from within the local community where we
work. So we understand the challenges facing our people
better.
• What unique or lowest-cost resources can you draw upon that
others can’t? What do people in your market see as your
strengths?

• What could you improve? Our resource base and our resource
mobilization strategy.
• What should you avoid? Criticisms from politicians unhappy
with our community development work
• What are things that users might see as weaknesses? Lack of
enough finances to implement our many programs.
THREATS
• What challenges do you face? Political interference, illiteracy
in the community, opposition from people opposed to
development
• What are your competitors doing? They are doing community
service but not to an extent that produces results like ours.
So they begin antagonizing us as most donors are now
inclined to us.

of Youth Empowerment, Community Development and Environmental
Conservation. We are carrying out a survey to determine the impact of our work in
the community and also to assess what the people we work with think of us.

REFLECTION
The tasks I have undertaken in this module are so great and they
have taught me so many things. Developing a SWOT analysis has
made me to appreciate the work we do and its challenges in
addition to the opportunities for improvement. The journey has
taught me to be more organized by revealing to me where I am
coming from, where I am and where I am heading to. This is very
critical to our success as an organization.
The questionnaire is very important in survey as it enables me to
get a first-hand objective opinion of how people think about the
work we do. The suggestions we get will challenge us to improve.

Our organization makes the local community an integral part of our community work we do. Most of other organizations impose solutions that they believe are best to people without consulting them. • What makes you unique? We are a team of young, vibrant and energetic young people and we are drawn from within the local community where we work. So we understand the challenges facing our people better. • What unique or lowest-cost resources can you draw upon that others can’t? What do people in your market see as your strengths? Criticisms from politicians unhappy with our community development work • What are things that users might see as weaknesses? Lack of enough finances to implement our many programs. THREATS • What challenges do you face? Political interference, illiteracy in the community, opposition from people opposed to development
  • 3. • What are your competitors doing? They are doing community service but not to an extent that produces results like ours. So they begin antagonizing us as most donors are now inclined to us. Yes QUESTIONNAIRE We are Locodein; a youth led organization working in Northern Kenya in the areas of Youth Empowerment, Community Development and Environmental Conservation. We are carrying out a survey to determine the impact of our work in the community and also to assess what the people we work with think of us. The survey will take at most 5 Minutes.   • 5. The tasks I have undertaken in this module are so great and they have taught me so many things. Developing a SWOT analysis has made me to appreciate the work we do and its challenges in addition to the opportunities for improvement. The journey has taught me to be more organized by revealing to me where I am coming from, where I am and where I am heading to. This is very critical to our success as an organization. The questionnaire is very important in survey as it enables me to get a first-hand objective opinion of how people think about the work we do. The suggestions we get will challenge us to improve.
