STRATERGY NO. 1 – IPL
Organize a “Biggest Fan Contest” during the IPL
season
Ask for pictures from fans showing them cheering
for their favourite IPL team
Pictures should be captioned and sent to a
particular number through Viber.
Winners would be given tickets to watch their
favourite teams play LIVE at the stadium.
IMPACT
A lot of cricket fans would be interested in such a
contest and this will thus increase the downloads
massively.
Also no kind of heavy expenditure will be involved
as the ticket cost for maximum 5 matches wont
cost more than Rs. 20000.
Promotion will be done through social media which
will cut down advertising cost
STRATERGY NO. 2 –
COLLEGE FESTIVLAS
Viber should become the telecom partners of college
festivals such as Umang (NM College), Kshitij (Mithibai
College), Vaayu (NMIMS), etc
Registrations for events of such festivals should be done
through Viber.
Also, Viber should set up stalls next to registration desks
in order to interact more with the crowd.
IMPACT
A messaging application is most commonly used
by college students. Participation in college
festivals would certainly attract a large number of
sudents to the Viber circle.
The objective here is not only to increase the
number of downloads but also increase the liking
for Viber in the minds of the people. The interactive
desks should deal with the people in such a way
that the people would want to use Viber.
