One of life’s little annoyances and source of stress is wondering about the small
things such as home safety. How can we use NFC to connect mundane objects in
a simple way?

A roll up of your driving data. Sensors collect: driving speed, braking and can log
the distance between the time you began your journey and time to destination -
this can be compared with averages for that distance to extrapolate the difference.
Depending on trafﬁc conditions, driving behavior dash will give the user a roll up of
the drive for a split second interaction right after the car stops and key removed
from ignition.

If the user wants more information they can select the icon and see what data was
collected or ignore it and it will be added to a driving log.

Enables your car to commiserate, help you improve driving or just provide a fun
way to provoke curiosity while being transparent that data is being collected.

Problem Statement

As mobile phones contain more personal information, this also creates a
security risk but also an opportunity

Solution Proposed

Data charm is a digital key that can enable any device it is contact with to be a
conduit for personal information such as stored passwords, contact lists and even
applications, data plans.

When the user touches or comes in close proximity to the enabled screen, mobile
device data charm passes stored information to the device for a temporary pairing
of devices.

The user simply types in a code to the paired device to complete the pairing
handshake.

When the data charm is no longer in close proximity, the device no longer contains
sensitive data.
