Who is the most dangerous person?
Dangerous includes involving or causing danger or risk; liable to hurt or harm;
causing fear or anxiety by threatening great harm (The free dictionary.com). According
to this definition, it can be said that the most dangerous person in the world is a teacher.
This is because the danger depends on how he or she teaches and if he or she shows
trust in the students. Way of teaching and showing trust will make the students either
love learning or hate learning and it will affect their future very much. For example, a
friend had to write an essay and he really enjoyed that topic, so he could write a lot
about it. However, the teacher did not believe that the student could write that much, so
the teacher thought the student cheated and he gave him an F without even reading the
essay. As a result, the student hated that teacher and did not want to learn anymore in
that class. He did not go to class and it caused big trouble for the student which made
him hate learning even more.
In addition, sometimes a teacher’s trust in the students can lead a student to
keep or lose their life. For example, I have heard the news that a third grade girl had
committed suicide because she was being bullied at her school and her homeroom
teacher did not even try to help her. The students who bullied her wrote some terrible
graffiti on the girl’s school things such as textbooks and notebooks, so she asked her
teacher for help about that, but the teacher did not believe her. The teacher thought it
was done by the girl herself, so she did not help her at all. If the teacher had trusted the
girl and took some action to stop the bullying, that third grade girl might not need to
take her life.
The teacher has a big responsibility to be the good example for the students.
The teacher must always be fair and listen to students. From these stories and the
responsibility for the teacher, the teacher is the most dangerous person on the earth. This
fits inductive reasoning because I identified the teacher as the most dangerous person by
explaining some particular situations that teachers’ hurt and caused harm to the students,
and I explained about responsibility the teacher has for the students. However, maybe
my statement is a hasty generalization because there are thousands of teachers in the
world so having only these two evidences are insufficient to write down that the
teachers are dangerous.
