Common Aptitude Test
Test conducted on a yearly basis for admissions into IIMs
Consists of three section Verbal, Data Interpretation/Logical Reasoning,
Maths having similar weightage
It is not as easy as it is considered to be and engineers (especially males)
have to put in extensive efforts
Recommended score ~ 99.5 above along with having good previous record
4. GMAT
Global Management Aptitude Test
Test conducted on a monthly basis for admissions into B Schools of United
Stated, United Kingdom, Singapore, ISB and IIMs
Exam can be given five times a year and scores remain valid for five years
Consists of three section Integrated Reasoning, Maths, Verbal with different
weightage
Admissions require minimum two and on an average 4 years of Job
5. Preparation
Engineers are inherently good at Maths and Reasoning but still need to
require a lot of practice to brush up your skills and improve you speed
The real problem is preparing for the verbal section. Not most of us are that
good in this part and heed to develop a habit of English reading to embed
the skill in our subconscious
Interview preparation involves a lot of general awareness and knowledge of a
variety of field apart from just having good communication skills
