4. • In this essay I will be summarizing Cyberspace
for all by Esther Dyson. Cyberspace is a place
that all people can benefit from.
• Cyberspace used to be a place where only
techies and nerds would hang out. The Net, as
it is called, is a place where everyone can go
and find something of interest to them.
• Lost in the furore over porn on the Net is the
exhilarating sense of freedom that this new
frontier once promised- and still does in some
quarters
5. • Esther Dyson’s article ‘The Cyberspace’ is a
discussion on the possibilities and challenges
involved in the use of cyberspace.
• Its is a community of networked computers.
• Its is an imaginary place where electronic data
goes.
• Earlier it was used by few, but now it is used by all
kinds of people.
• Cyberspace is like areal estate.
• Real estate is an artificial, legal environment
constructed on top of land.
6. • The three major areas of services available in
cyberspace are :
(i) The private e-mail conversation

control all the activities of the group.
• It is the duty of the moderator to check and
remove the negative &unwanted elements from
the group.
