Seeing the truth with your minds eye, allowing you to reach higher consciousness.” “Getting woke is like being in the Matrix and taking the red pill.You get a sudden understanding of what’s really going on.” “Woke is a slang term that is easing into the mainstream from some varieties of a dialect called AAVE. It is the past tense of ‘awake’.”
