Hierarchy of management that covers different levels of management
Question 7
1. Evaluation Question 7
Looking back at your preliminary task,
what do you feel you have learnt in the
progression from it to the full product?
2. Front Cover
The image on the left is from my preliminary
student magazine, and the one on the right is my
final music magazine.
You can see a clear difference in the sense that
the music magazine looks much more
professional. I believe that learning how to use
different softwares has allowed me to achieve
this outcome.
Learning more about camera angles and lighting
allowed me to avoid that high brightness look
that I got on my preliminary task.
Looking at different magazines and marketing
techniques made me realise how to make my
cover lines stand out and how to really capture
my target audience through mode of language,
colour scheme, puffs, etc…
3. Contents Page
The image on the left is from my preliminary
student magazine, and the one on the right is my
final music magazine.
You can see a clear difference in the sense that
the music magazine looks much more
professional. I believe that learning how to use
different softwares has allowed me to achieve
this outcome.
I felt more confidence to try new things on my
music magazine, which led to me doing the
gradient background to fit my grunge, alternative
rock scheme.
I also added an editorial introduction on the
music magazine as I had done more research in
to magazines, to find out that most of them do
have these sections.
4. Overview of what I have
learnt…
– In transition from my preliminary task to my full product, I have
learnt a lot. Firstly, I’ve learnt how to use/develop my skills in
many different programmes such as:
- Photoshop, Prezi, Emaze, Blogger, Slideshare, DaFont, etc.
– I’ve also learnt how to edit and adjust my images/photos for my
magazines within applications like photoshop.
– My two magazines side by side show my transition and progress
through the AS Media course.
