- Cultural studies is a field of theoretically,
politically, and empirically engaged cultural
analysis that concentrates upon the
political dynamics of contemporary culture,
its historical foundations, defining traits,
conflicts, and contingencies.
4. In cultural studies we learn about :-
- Culture,
- Society,
- Religious,
- Culture is not only a way of seeing the
world, but also a way of making and
changing it. Cultural studies deals
with culture as a part of everyday life.
Because of that it is an evolving field that
changes and develops with culture itself.

6. Death :-
- Death is the permanent cessation of all
biological functions that sustain a living
organism. Phenomena which commonly
bring about death include aging, predation,
malnutrition, disease, suicide, homicide,
starvation, dehydration, and accidents or
major trauma resulting in terminal injury.
7. - Death & dying practice. Burial customs
every society has some way of caring for the
dead.
- Death is universal and every culture has its
own ways of dealing with it.
- Hindu Religion,
- Muslim Religion,
- Christian Religion &
- Parsi Religion.
8. Hindu Funeral Traditions :-
- Typically, Hindu families try to have the funeral
within 24 hours after death, after which the body
will be cremated. The preta-karma is an important
Hindu death rituals that takes place during the
period of mourning.

9. Muslim Funeral Traditions :-
- Death in Islam is the termination of worldly
life & the beginning of after life. Death is
seen as the separation of soul from body,
& its transfer from this world to the afterlife.
- Beginning of new life.
10. Christian Funeral Traditions :-
- When a Christian dies, it is seen as the end of
his/her life on earth. A funeral is held for friends
and family to grieve for the person who has died
and give thanks for their life. If someone is on their
deathbed, a minister will prepare them for death.
- End of life.
11. Parsi Funeral Traditions :-
- Zoroastrian(Towers of Silence) priests pray to
honor the dead inside a temple in Pune, India, on
Aug. 18, 2010. Each of the dead is represented by
a vase filled with flowers. Parsis forbid images of
their funeral ceremonies, where the deceased are
taken to the Tower of Silence and consumed by
vultures & other birds of prey.

12. Conclusion :-
- In every religion we can find that death
connected with rebirth and for that they
do some particular 'vidhi'. Every
religious people think that without all this
rituals soul not go in Haven & that's why
maybe they not believe or fear to
donate body after death.
