2. About Oliver Twist :-
- Oliver Twist is a 9 year old orphan boy who
doesn't know who his parents were. Oliver
Twist is born in 1830 in workhouse. a
workhouse foundling, the helpless & abused
hero of the novel.
- He is a young, good hearted & kind. he never
loses his sense of morality or kindness.

- There are five states which are India's
biggest child labor employers..

population works here. India's biggest
hub of child labour is Uttar Pradesh and
it accounts for almost 20% of India's
child labourers. According to a
Campaign Against Child Labour (CAC)
study, India has 1,26,66,377 child
labourers of which UP has 19,27,997
child labourers.

Era :-
- During the Victorian Era, the economy &
workforce relied heavily on children.
- In this Era kids only source of money.
- No education.( waste of time)
- What kind of jobs did children do?

(ILO)
- Poverty is the greatest cause behind child
labour.

- Less education
- They needed to work to help their families earn
enough money to live.
9. • The world’s highest number of working children
in India.
• There are 11.28 million working children under
the age of fourteen years in India.
• Over 19 lakh children laboureres in the 5-14
age group in utter Pradesh. Rajasthan
accounts for over 12 lakh workers followed by
Bihar over 11 lakh & Madhya Pradesh with
10.6 lakh.
10. Effect of child labour :-
- Corruption.
- Increase, criminal activity.
- Serious health damages.
13. Conclusion :-
- Child labor is crime according to our
governments but still we find many children are
working why ?
- Because lack of aware ?
- They only think about their personal life ?
- If they feel sympathy for those children’s then
they give money & feel satisfied, but they can't
understand that EDUCATION IS REAL HELP
RATHER THEN MONEY.
