DEPARTMENT OF
CHEMISTRY
The Department of Chemistry was
established at the inception of the
Nagarjuna Sagar Engineering College
in 1965, which was later made into
the constituent college of the newly
formed Jawaharlal Nehru
Technological University in 1972.
Later, JNTU was carved out as a new
University, Jawaharlal Nehru
Technological University Hyderabad,
during 2008. Then, the Department of
Chemistry has become one of the
important science departments of the
autonomous college, JNTUHCEH.
The Department of Chemistry, JNTUH
College of Engineering, Kukatpally,
Hyderabad has been conducting 2-
Year-Full-Time Programs in Chemistry
with specializations in Drugs &
Pharmaceutical Chemistry and
