Best ICT Enabled School of the year<br />Scottish High International School proudly boasts of a large LAN/ WLAN network of more than two hundred computers which is spread over the huge campus for the use of its students and staff. The entire school building and its sprawling campus are supported by the WIFI network system. Digital classrooms enhance learning in all subjects. These classrooms have received an overwhelming sense of appreciation from the students and teachers.<br />There is centralized database in the school which is accessed by all students and staff through authenticated usernames and passwords. The school provides Hi- Speed leased line internet connectivity for all students and staff. However there is regular monitoring and scrutiny of the web content through dedicated firewall and gateway security. This ensures that our students are prevented from accessing any objectionable content of any webpage which is blocked by the firewall. Scottish High provides intranet facility to all its staff members, which ensures smooth functioning of the day to day school activities as it guarantees that all staff members get updated about all internal affairs and events of the school. There is centralized School Management Software installed which handles fee management, admissions, library, students database and academic performance of all students. The school provides 100% Power Backup facility for all the systems and peripherals which ensure that tasks related to ICT never get delayed. Regular data backups are taken for the entire school data by means of centralized data backup solutions. This backing storage plays a very important role in terms of data security as in case of data loss, the original data can be easily retrieved though the data recovery system. All ICT work is saved by all students in their respective workspace which can always be assessed by the teachers. There are PDC (Primary Domain Controller) and ADC (Additional Domain Controller) servers installed to govern and control the school network.
