  Yes. Store draws me in by looking at cool posters on stores
walls and cool display of products. Doors remain closed. I
feel good as I approach store and if I had enough I will pick
all items from wish list. I feel good and my mind started
working fast as I approach any store. Signing letters are big
and bold fonts. Singing letter on any store gave me an
abstract idea what items they deal in.
  As I entered in any store and took my iPhone out
of my pocket to take pictures, everyone started
looking at me like I am James bond 007.

  Some people were afraid that this is the guy who
is inspecting us. They did not allow me to take
pictures. I felt that I will miss this assignment.

  Some people might be thinking I am their
  competitor.

  I was thinking that if
                        in near future, by any
means any of the store gets looted I am in the
videos. I prayed and will pray that God protect
these all stores where I took pictures for my
  assignment.
  Mostly the stores that I have visited were very colorful. It
looks cool. Floor is divided into square shaped tiles.

  Ceiling is mostly 12-14 feet high. Stores are well lit. I
  was comfortable with lights.

  Environment was not much loud. Only noise was due to
salesmen talking to each other like birds chirping early
  in the morning in tree.

  Music was not being played in any store. Salesmen said,
they only play music when owner of shopping centre is
  on visit.

  Stores’ temperature was neither warm nor cold. Stores
  are mostly sparse.

  I did not feel any smell or may be its because my nose
  is not working heheh.

  Cash register is located on each floor.
  Stores security, most of
them were looking at ground. Few of
them did seem interested in securing the place. They were
  visible though.

  I wanted to stay for 5-10 minutes only if they allowed me to
  stay that much time.

  Yes. Environment influence the perceived value of
  customers.
  It takes 30-60 second and sales person tries to verify
that either customer is for window shopping or really
  interested in buying.

  They don’t have any script to follow.
  They treat all customers equally except ladies hehehe.
  5:2 is ratio of sales people to customer.

  Mostly 20+ and ladies.
  They don’t use store products because their salary is
low so they cant buy store products.

  Some sales persons wear uniform some not. Mostly
they don’t match with store image.
  Cakes, T-Shirts and Shalwar Kameez I noticed first.
  Yes in each store there is central table or central place
  for featured products.

  Mostly they are in middle of stored but it is very
difficult to find because they pasted stickers
everywhere in store “Sale, Sale, Sale”.

  Products are arranged by functions or categories.
  There are no free samples but there are items of each
  category in display rack.

  Products at eye level are which are hanged for display
and mainly which are in centre of store.
  Least accessible items are either in the topmost rack or in
  storage area.

  There is no specific place for most and least expensive
  place.

  Yes prices are easy to find.
  In some stores, impulse items are near cash register but it
is not true for each store.
  Mostly customers were with families. Average age was
  around 35.

  When customers enter in store they make a whole trip
and keep on selecting goods based on their needs.

  Customer usually spend 20 minutes in each store.
  Customers touch products and it is encouraged by
stores because it will increase the likelihood of buying
  products eventually.

  75% are on mission but 25 % are for window shopping.
  75% purchases products.
  There is floor map as you enter in shopping center.
  Stairs are also available as well as lift.
  Fire extinguishers are placed at different places.
  Mostly stores had walls with white colors.
  Posters on the walls were attracting customers to buy
  stuff.

  Sales persons are very talkative. If
                                     they don’t find
customer they started talking to each other.

  It is really bad idea to take pictures in shopping centre
  especially country like Pakistan.

  Many sales persons laughed when they saw me taking
  pictures.

  Few stores have broken ceiling painted black.
  There is floor map which guides you regarding each
  floor and shops name.

  There is no music in shopping centre.
  Stairs are also available.
  Every store is not strict about uniform of sales people.

  Lights are circular shaped placed in row in ceiling.
  All products are arranged by type.
  Broken roof
  Adding light music in store will be good. It will keep
customer relaxed and delighted and customers will
not observe noise of salesmen in different stores.

  There should be list of all stores name available on
  each floor.

  There should be separate space for items on sales not
  mixed with other items.

  Each Store should have website from where people
can buy items online and receive via products
  shipping system.

  Stores offering sales should be listed at ground floor.
