Q2.) How does your media product represent particular social groups?
Ethnic minorities- for my main image I decided to use a Caucasian model- in the picture she has a calm expression and because of her timid smile it makes her look a bit innocent. Teenagers- the artist that I have used I’ve represented her as an 18 year old. I have done this so the younger teens can relate to her as she talking about her education and also because the audience in their late teens may be able to empathise with her as they are roughly the same age. Colloquial language- in the main article I subverted the stereotype of ‘posh white kids’ and decided to use some informal phrases such as ‘wanna’. This allows the audience to relate with the artist.
