Presentation of Public Speaking! Hope so
you are all well by the grace of Almighty
Allah. Before the introduce to all, we
want to give special thanks to our
honorable teacher to give us an
opportunity for this presentation.
 Audiences, we are the members of APEX
group and our group members are-

Leader) So, enough is introduction and
we would like to informed you about our
presentation topic. Our presentation

Effect of Technology on Modern Society
 Audiences, think of that days, when there
were no online messengers, emails and
cell phones. Indeed the cellular technology
has been created the miracle of enabling
communication over the wireless media.
Emails has been replaced hand written
letters and communication lost his
personal touch. But email is so fast than
hand written letters.
 Moreover, at present we are dependent on
technology in various situations. Modern
computer and science technology and
robotics have been almost replaced human
brains. With the day by day developing of
technology, we have started artificial
intelligence in various fields. With the
developments in technology, we may be
able to enjoy all the costly luxuries. But
really we will missing out on the little
priceless joys of our life.

Most Disadvantages of Technology
 When we talk about the impact of
technology, we always try to talk about the
positive effects of technology and on how
technology has brought luxury our life. But
we should think about it bad effects.
 We also talk about the Internet as an
information resource and a
communications platform. But with over
expression it leads to Internet addiction
and early age boys and girls are addicted
to internet.
 We think of technology as a boon to
society. But this is not completely true.
Because the Internet has many unethical
practices like Hacking, Spamming and
Phishing etc. Internet is an open platform
for our expression. But at present we think
it has a lot of lacks of regulations. There is
no regulations on the contents when it is
display in the websites.

Most Advantages of Technology
 We have to confessed that, in spite of
some negative effects of technology,
but there are are lot of positive
effects and the modern society
depend on those positive effects in
various situations. Because at present
from the start of school to lot of
sectors are currently dependent on
technology. Different sectors can be
different types of organization and
company, corporate offices, banks,
customer cares, government offices,
police department etc.
 Examples: Education has been greatly
advanced by the technological
advances of computers. Students are
able to learn on a global scale without
ever leaving their classrooms. Medical
discoveries occur at a much more
rapid rate.

their teaching.
80% of professors have at least
one social media account.
67% 0f college educators belive
that, video, blogs, prodcasts and
wikis are necessary teaching
tools.

connect with students.
2/3 faculty use social media
during class.

 70% students take notes on digital
devices.
78% claim they can not study
without the aid of various
technologies.
91% of students communicate with
profesors via email.
65% students create digital
presentation.
86% students claim to study better
with tablets and 48% of students
belive tablets will fully replace
textbooks in the coming 5 years.
 and 3/4 students who own tablet
computers prefer them to textbooks.

 10% of students who picked
textbooks.
 98% of students own a digital
device and 38% of students check
a digital device every 10 minutes.
 25% of students spend each class
on their laptops browsing
contents, which are not related to
their coursework.
 Average 2.4 number of text
messages each student sends
during their class.

peoples are dependent on internet to
communicate with their nearest or
dearest. At present social networking
are the most effective and powerful
method for communication. As a results
lot of social networking sites users are
increasing day by day...

Technology's Negative Influence on Education
 Technology has already integrated its negative effects
intoclassroomandstudentsareusingdifferenttypesof
techologicaldevicessuchas:CellPhone,Tablet,Laptop
etc. during their class. Otherwise many students
mistakenly believe that technology allows them to do
severalthingsatonceanddothemwell.
 Cell phones is a major distraction within the classroom
andthisisknowntobeatruefact.(Picture-1)
 Teachers both have positive and negative feelings
towards technology in the classroom and it was
discovered that not only have students become
dependent on technology; teachers are also. But the
teachers are usingtechnologyinclass for the good and
the teachers are using techological devices such as:
whiteboards, projectors, and numerous software
programs, which are assist in doing everyday tasks in
