Darul Islam Is a land or
territory where Islam and
its laws (Islamic law) are
protected. Or can also be
called as a peaceful area.
(Glasse, Cyril, Ensiklopedi
Islam)
5. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DAR
AL-ISLAM AND AL-HARB
Darul harb
Darul islam
1.Embodiment of
Islamic law
2.cities/territories
other than Madinah
and its expansion
3. Muslims living in
these areas are not
secure anymore. (
Hanafi)
1. There is a
manifestation of a law
other than Islam in it,
although the majority of
its population is Muslim
2. Madinah and its
expansion
3. Muslim is fully secure
(Hanafi and Zaydiyah )
7. A good and fair cooperative relationship
Allah does not forbid you from those who do not
fight you because of religion and do not expel you
from your homes - from being righteous toward
them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah
loves those who act justly”
(QS. al-Mumtahanah,
60:8)
8. Give priority to peace
“And if they incline to peace, then
incline to it [also] and rely upon Allah.
Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the
Knowing.”
(QS. al-Anfal, 8:61)
9. Strengthening alertness in a peaceful atmosphere
“But if they intend to deceive you -
then sufficient for you is Allah. It is He
who supported you with His help and
with the believers” (QS. al-Anfal, 8:62)
10. War is allowed only when it is forced
and for defensive purposes, not
offensive
“Permission [to fight] has been given to those who are being
fought because they were wronged. And indeed, Allah is
competent to give them victory. [They are] those who have been
evicted from their homes without right - only because they say,
"Our Lord is Allah ." And were it not that Allah checks the
people, some by means of others, there would have been
demolished monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques
in which the name of Allah is much mentioned. And Allah will
surely support those who support Him. Indeed, Allah is Powerful
and Exalted in Might.” (QS. al-Hajj, 22: 39-40).
11. Invite others to Islam in good and wise
ways. If they do evil, recompense their
wickedness with the just, not be
excessive.
“Fight in the way of Allah those who
fight you but do not transgress.
Indeed. Allah does not like
transgressors.”( al baqarah 190)
12. Must not impose religion on oth
“There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of]
the religion. The right course has become clear
from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut
and believes in Allah has grasped the most
trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And
Allah is Hearing and Knowing.” (al baqarah 256)
13. Honoring signed treaty pacts.
“How can there be for the polytheists a treaty in the
sight of Allah and with His Messenger, except for
those with whom you made a treaty at al-Masjid al-
Haram? So as long as they are upright toward you, be
upright toward them. Indeed, Allah loves the
righteous [who fear Him].” (At taubah 7)
14. CONCLUSION

Al maidah 47 (siapa yang tidak implemented apa yang telah diturunkan maka termasuk orang kafir) means perintah allah untuk dirinya sendiri dan bukan berarti memaksa non muslim untuk mengikutinya juga.
