4. APNIC EC meetings
• The EC usually meets four times a year
• Three face-to-face meetings held since APNIC 43 AGM
• Joint Board meeting with AFRINIC Board in June 2017
• Next meeting: Brisbane, 7-8 December 2017

6. APNIC Survey
• The EC commissions the APNIC Survey every two years:
– Independent and anonymous
• Planning of APNIC Survey 2018:
– Discussion on timeline and locations for Focus Groups and individual
interviews
– Focus Groups will start at the end of January 2018

7. Finances
• Lower membership growth than expected in 2017
– As of 31 August 2017, APNIC has 6,360 Members
– Higher growth of membership from LDCs than anticipated
• Expenses continue to track below budget
• Started discussion on Activity Planning and Budget for 2018

8. Service Partner
• The EC agreed on a new initiative to encourage
membership development for a limited trial in selected
economies
• More details will be announced in 2018
