Meet our Black Widow and her first victim.

2. Going to TRY not to plot this out…but we all know how that’s going to go don’t we?
Anyway, welcome to my Halloween 2020 challenge: The Black Widow Challenge. I
chose this picture for the background of the slides because I HATE spiders, they scare
the hell out of me and I REFUSE to look at them for the whole time. Not gonna happen.
So have witches, bats and a Bruce Almighty moon instead. Now that we’ve got that out
of the way, let’s meet our Black Widow…

3. Let’s meet our Black Widow, this is Debbie Jellinski and she is a random sim from the CAS bin…who
got glitched with alien black eyes because apparently when I save an alien born in game in here, they
corrupt everyone and everything. *sigh* Anyway, Debbie Jellinski is the name of the Black Widow
from 1993’s Addams Family Values who tried to kill Fester on their Hawaiian honeymoon to be
husband number four. She failed obviously. My Debbie won’t though. Her genetics were as they
were in the Sim Bin, I just changed her hair to a bright yellow and kept all but one of her randomized
traits. I tried, really I did but it just didn’t work for me.

4. Debbie Jellinski makes her home in the most creepy hood I have…Moonlight Falls. I wish I had
Midnight Hollow but my Origin was hacked and I can’t buy it. Anyway, she bought the little
house that is conveniently graveyard adjacent for easy disposal of her unfortunate spouses. But
she’ll be keeping their graves. Moving on, Debbie has a Good Sense of Humour, is Dramatic,
Irresistible, is a Diva and has Commitment Issues, because she gets “bored” easily with her
men. Faves include Crepes, Pop music, and the colour Blue. She has the LTW of Gold Digger
(obviously duh).

5. So Debbie is hungry for her first prey in this hidden little town and heads to the town
square where she meets the first potential she fancies, Param Singh one of the local
werewolves. She likes him, has compatible signs, which is essential after all let’s see
how the talk goes.

6. Debbie’s sharp eyes catch the glint of a wedding ring on his finger, a challenge she is
ready to accept willingly. If his wife was really good enough for him, he would not be
here checking her out, would he? Anyway, she starts up a conversation, testing how
secure and confident he is in his marriage…

7. Until it all goes wrong, conflicting traits. He’s a Hopeless Romantic and she has
Commitment Issues. Well damn, time to move on to the next potential then. Param
doesn’t realize how lucky he just got, even if he is an immortal werewolf, Debbie would
have found a way to “deal” with that quite well.

8. Then she spots a rather tired and lost looking little fly by the fountain. Poor boy looks
half starved but…he has a ring on! Well score! David Pok wins round one, and just to
be sure, Debbie asks the all important question: What’s your sign baby?

9. He’s a Leo, that’s good for her! He is also at level 4 in Criminal which isn’t ideal for
satisfying her Gold Digger instinct, but it will have to do for a start. After all, fortunes
aren’t made overnight right? That will have to do for now. So she pounces, pressing her
advantage…

10. David looks nervous, he glances over her shoulder at a woman sitting at the picnic
table. Hmm…the wife? Perfect. Let’s see how strong her bond with her man is. Debbie
goes in the for the flirt, David accepts…

11. Janet can obviously see her man looking all embarrassed and flustered around her, but
yet she doesn’t do anything to stop it, no hissy fit, no slap fest, no cat fight. It would
seem that her bond with David is too weak to even survive this little tiff. All the better
for her.

12. Well then, I’ll take him. Welcome to my web David Pok, enjoy what little of a life you’ll
have left. Now all that’s left is to cast my spell and get him to ditch his hagster of a
wife. Yes, Debbie is a witch, how else could she be so enchanting?

13. Now that he’s going to move in with her, step two is complete. And wouldn’t you
know it? He has a really NICE car, a Marguerite Roadster, nice. That’s a $70000 car
so he must have been loaded. But she will temper her appetite for the time being, Janet
can keep the house…because that’s all she is, an empty shell.

14. Husband or Victim #1 David Pok is Neurotic, a Night Owl, a Schmoozer,
Charismatic, and a Kleptomaniac. His faves include Grilled Salmon, Pop music,
and the colour Grey. His LTW is to be a Master Thief. Let’s hope his Neurotic mind
won’t tip him off about Debbie before she’s ready.

15. Debbie is now David’s girlfriend, she successfully convinced him to dump his wife and now he’s
all hers. He brought very little money with him, a paltry $1049 but his car is more than worth it,
if she needs to sell it of course. Janet kept the money and house…but soon Debbie will have more
than enough to take it from her and toss her out in the streets. Just out of petty revenge, even if
David has already met his demise…one day.

16. But David took it one step farther, he already bought a ring. Apparently he’s one of those types
that HAS to be married, poor helpless baby. Debbie has to keep him happy for the time being so she
accepted even if inside she was railing against that golden noose around her neck…he also needed
to get out there and earn more money. If he was too upset over rejected proposals, he wouldn’t be
able to focus on his work. So Debbie will take the hit for now.

17. But always planning ahead, while David slept for his night shift stealing stuff, Debbie went back
to the town square just in time for the Summer Festival. She was looking for future victims. Only
one male there, a fairy who was just a literal dirt farmer. Not one of her choices. But Frieda, the
ghost next to her is a GOTH, and the town is always talking about Samuel and Olivia’s epic
fights…hmm maybe if she could meet this Samuel, getting a hold of that Goth fortune would be
amazing!

18. David apparently missed her so he found her at the festival and got in on the game of
Water Balloons. The other potential next to her is Chester Swain, he’s moderately
wealthy…but also single so not much of a challenge for her. David stayed until he had to
go to work. So clingy…and needy. Ugh.

19. One night while David was at work, mysterious lights appeared in the tree next to the
driveway, Debbie went out to investigate…

20. Aliens are advanced enough to travel the stars so they have to know how to get rich
quick right? Well perhaps they will send her a male who is looking to populate the
earth…that would be quite lucky for her wouldn’t it?

21. They did send her a male, but he’s literally half dead so by the time she ever gets to see
them again, this one will be space dust. But she’s not so picky that she wouldn’t be up
for some pollination experiments…selling a kid made like that would net her a fortune
right?

22. Finally, the day had arrived. David had finally filled out and doesn’t look like stiff breeze would
blow him away anymore, and he just got promoted to Safe Cracker, level 8 in the Thief branch.
Debbie’s plan to keep him happy had worked. But now his time is running short, there are so
many potentials around, like Argus Brown, another immortal werewolf but better off financially.

23. Oh now he’s crying, *eye twitch* Grooms aren’t the ones who are supposed to cry at
their weddings. So needy this one…but it’s gotta be done. So let’s get this over with.

24. The radio is playing upbeat pop music that they both like but in her head Debbie is
playing the funeral march. A shiny noose around her neck that will soon be cut. But not
too soon, it’s important to keep up appearances for the time being.

25. Debbie spies the sexy fairy behind her new husband. A happily married Pip Goodfellow,
at least he has a fortune behind his name, and won’t be going anywhere any time soon.
Immortal fairies live here too but every one of them has a weakness, and Debbie is very
good at finding them.

26. But later, Pip you’re in her sights. Now she has to play the good wife for David and
give him what he will inevitably want next…a baby. If she has to do that, then that kid
had better at least be a witch. Or as soon as it’s allowed that kid is getting kicked out.

27. Now the clock is running out for David. She may be feeling a bit generous, and at least
let him see his kid before he meets his fate…as long as that kid is a witch. If not…well
they will be finding themselves on the doorstep of the orphanage as soon as possible.

28. He looks so happy…so obliviously happy…if she cared she might actually be happy too.
Unfortunately, that happiness is NOT getting him promoted to level 9 and that is just
unacceptable.

29. David is getting ready for work and her friend Dante happened to be over when the
moon was full, and the zombie fairies are roaming about outside…Dante at least cares
more about his Criminal career than David does so maybe he will be added to the list as
well.

30. Well this is disappointing and infuriating; there is no magic in this kid! He’s just an ordinary
human! Way to fail your mother Moonshadow Pok. Enjoy your bliss while you can…hopefully
you will be Perceptive enough to know how you failed your mother by being born human.
Perhaps your Athletic trait will save you when you’re on the run from her. He likes Stu
Surprise, Western music, and the colour Aqua.

31. Okay…well played. Your CUTENESS will make it harder for me, the author, not
Debbie, to dispose of you. <_> Why you gotta be cute Moonshadow? Why? *Pepewhy*
Seriously, this kid is freaking adorable. Yellow hair, Debbie’s eye shape and elf ears,
David’s eye colour. Debbie has green eyes, I wish it would show in game though.

32. And now for what you have all been waiting for, Death #1. Unlike Sims 2, in Sims 3
ladder-less pools do NOT mean death for them as they can get out without ladders. So
fencing them in DOES work. I had to make this 5x2 pool so he would move around to
get tired enough to do this. And then after this he blinked out of existence, I thought
I’d botched it…no body float like in Sims 4.

33. See? Even Grim couldn’t find his body, it’s not in the pool…and no it’s not off screen
either. So where is it?

34. *Whew* There it is. Also his lackluster grave because he never got past level 8 in the
Thief branch. Fail David, fail. Anyway…now that we have our first kill let’s see how
Debbie takes it.

35. Well…she’s okay? I mean as soon as I can I’m buying her that Stone Hearted LTH reward.
Because it fits, and she’s technically a serial killer and they don’t feel remorse for their victims.
David: I guess I was right to be Neurotic about this marriage huh?
Grim: Lesson learned friend, albeit too late.

36. Debbie: You and I will be seeing a lot of one another.
Grim: Oh? Why is that?
Debbie: I think you already know.

37. Debbie: Think of me instead of that failure Olive Spectre whenever you see
these. I’ve enchanted them so they will never wilt or die. Can Olive do THAT?
Grim: Well the Underworld is rather drab, thank you. I will treasure them.

38. Debbie: YES! Hang Ten my beloved!
Grim: Hang Ten, since that’s how many times I’ll be coming back here to see you
right?

39. Debbie: I’ll save a special place for you in my heart.
Grim: I hope so. I have to go now, but I’ll be back soon.

40. Debbie: Take this with you. Remember me.
Grim: I will.
