Rhodonite Arcenciel is a merman bachelor who has been given the largest seaside lot on Isla Paradiso to spend a week with seven ladies competing for his affection. The ladies include Rose Angel, Holly Hemlock, Andalusia Magellan, Abby Henry, Nicole Perdue, Claudia O'Malley, and Rosalinda Segura, with various supernatural traits. After the first two days, Abby Henry is eliminated with the lowest score. On the third day, Claudia O'Malley is eliminated. Rose, Andalusia, and Rosalinda currently have the highest scores as they vie for Rhode's attention over the next four days.

2. Meet our bachelor, Rhodonite Arcenciel. Rhodonite, or Rhode as he was better known as was the
youngest of my four Pink gen kids in my Rainbowcy. He was a merman but was often
overshadowed by his sister Sakura who was the heiress. Unfortunately, you can’t save mermaids
in CAS so despite having the scales, Rhode is not a mermaid I have to build up 30 000 LTH to rebuy
him a Mermadic Kelp.

3. Upon returning to the beautiful (but horribly laggy and more so since Pets) Isla Paradiso
Rhode was given the largest seaside lot and seven ladies to spend the next week with. Let’s
meet them.
This is Bachelorette number 1, Rose Angel. Rose is my simself’s pod baby daughter from
another file and that file is long since deleted but Rose has been planted in the CAS folders
ever since. Traits for the girls will be at the end because of space issues. But Rose originally
had Evil as one of her traits, I changed it for this because I don’t want Evil chicks for Rhode.

4. Next up is Bachelorette number 2, Holly Hemlock. Holly was created only to show off a
Let’s Build It lot I made for Halloween one year (last year I think) and since she has
grown on me. Holly is adorable and also a witch. She is the second saved Sim that I
had chilling in my CAS folder.

5. Next we have Bachelorette number 3, Andalusia Magellan. Andalusia was created to
be entered in a poll to be the founder of a Boolprop Round Robin legacy, she didn’t win
and has been sitting and waiting for her chance to shine for a long time in CAS.
Andalusia is human. She is also the last of my saved Sims.

6. Next is Bachelorette number 4, Abby Henry. Abby is a totally randomized CAS created
Sim for this challenge that took me a while to get right. I only changed her clothes to
match their favourite colours, and if the CAS outfits were hideous. Abby is the second
pure human in this challenge.

7. Bachelorette number 5 is Nicole Perdue (French for lost which I thought was cool).
Nicole is a werewolf, hence the glowing eyes. She is also completely randomized with
only changes made to her clothes to match their favourite colours. The full moon will
be fun when she transforms. Everyone had better watch out for her lunacy…

8. Bachelorette number 6 is Claudia O’Malley. Claudia is a vampire so I have to watch
her like a hawk so she doesn’t get stuck too long outside…like she is now *cough* I
also had to add a fridge for her plasma juice so she wouldn’t die.

9. And last, but not least, Bachelorette number 7 Rosalinda Segura. Rosalinda is a witch
and I was very pleased with how she turned out. For being totally randomized in CAS
she is gorgeous with her short hair and my new favourite 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s SP top. I
love it. So 90’s! Which is why Holly had it too. Anyway, she is my most Asian looking
random Sim and I couldn’t be happier with her.

10. Anyway, now that you’ve met everyone let’s see who goes where to Meet and Greet.
Claudia is first to find Rhode and despite risking her death, she made it a point to get
to him first. Rhode looks pleased, probably because he’s getting attention but more
likely because I had to change his Loner trait to Friendly. He would have anxiety if I left
it in. He’s also Irresistible…yeah another one.

11. We have our first heart fart. Claudia likes Rhode, this is a good thing. We want this. My
not-mermaid certainly knows how to be charming. Does Rhode throw me any heart
farts? We shall have to see as the week goes on.

12. Of course, we have the usual ITF portal in a new file spawn on your playable’s lot as
well as the Uni mascot visit. This portal blocked the gate and it’s noisy so I’ll have
Rhode deal with Emit Relevart and pack away the portal in his inventory so I won’t be
bothered later by it.

13. Rhode: Dude, you’re messing with my challenge. Away with you.
Emit: But I bring you a wondrous thing from the future! Also I lost my power cells, can you go find
them?
Rhode: Do I have to? Will it make you go away?

14. Emit: Here, the Book of the Future. Take it.
Rhode: Yeah…fine. I’ll go get your damn power cells. Don’t mess with my girls while I
do.
Emit: Thank you scaly man.

15. And of course the girls mob Rhode just when I’m trying to get rid of Emit. But
Andalusia and Rhode throw me mutual heart farts! So I suppose it wasn’t ALL bad…see
Rose waiting there behind the noisy, bright portal? She’s waiting to mob Rhode too. My
simself’s daughter knows what’s what in this challenge, good girl.

16. Someone found the hot tubs I see.
Rose: This is where you’ve been? I was looking everywhere for you.
Rhode: Yeah, some blue haired dude just HAD to interrupt me. I got your power cells back now
get lost! I want to turn that thing off, it’s loud and bugging me.

17. Eventually I got the portal put away and the Uni bucket sold ( no one’s going to Uni while I’m stuck
in Lagsville) and Rhode wandered into the house and found Rosalinda.
Rhode: So you like the house? It’s big but one floor so it’s easy to get around.
Rosalinda: Yeah it’s great, lots of space. But it’s echoey you know? So MUCH space and nothing to
absorb sound.

18. Ooh, another mutual heart farting. Andalusia and Rosalinda are in good spots so far.
Just find it funny that Rhode always looks so serious in his thumbnails. I love him so it’s
all good. But yeah, thanks Apollo for blighting the family with your caveman
brow…Apollo was my Violet generation spouse and married my werewolf heiress
Hydrangea. But he is also responsible for the platinum white-blond hair, so bonus?

19. Rosalinda: I’m also a witch, did you know that?
Rhode: No but my ancestor Kiwi was a witch too, he introduced the family to witchcraft.
Rosalinda: Oh cool, didn’t know that.
Rhode: No way you could, but that’s why we’re all here right?

20. Nicole was out in the hot tubs, missing valuable time with Rhode…but also skinny
dipping. Take note of that because it will be important later. You see Rose is a
Kleptomaniac and that has some interesting free will actions that go along with it. You
can see where I’m going with this right?

21. Rose: I saw you hogging Rhodey, he’s going to be mine. Got that?
Rosalinda: Not my fault you can’t stay out of the hot tubs. Maybe try to talk to him instead of
watering yourself all the time plant.
Rose: Plant?! This is means war witch!

22. Day 1 ends and Day 2 begins. Once more Rhode is stalking Rosalinda in the girls’
bathroom. I forgot to do the flirts…so it was more like an extended Day 1 meet and
greet before the first 12 noon elimination. Who will go home first? Let’s see how the
morning goes to find out.

23. Sensing Rhode near by, Andalusia sought him out much to Rosalinda’s dismay. She
almost had him to herself too. Rhode isn’t bothered, he likes the attention.

24. Rose keeping an ever-watchful eye on her Rhodey, Rosalinda is watching her right back
so is this the beginning of an enemy? I removed Rose’s Evil trait but perhaps some sort
of residual trace of it remains…also love the All-in-One bathrooms, they make it so
much easier for everyone here. No shoo-flees when they need to pee or shower.

25. The music room is where Rhode found Nicole dancing, wearing the towel forever now. Remember
I said to take note of her skinny dipping? Well the resident Klepto plant stole her clothes. And
because of Nicole’s Party Animal trait (ironic) she can’t go into the hot tubs. Yeah didn’t know
that. Sims 3 makes this harder it seems. So Nicole will miss out on the group dates until the coding
that says she can’t go in again wears off, not sure how long it takes though.

26. Oh look our other resident skinny dipper finally showed up. Holly remembered that
Rhode exists and that she’s here for him. She tracked him down to the music room and
made sure to listen in on Nicole and Rhode. Good girl for remembering. She didn’t get
her clothes stolen (yet) so we’ll have to wait and see if that happens.

27. Claudia: Hey Abby you DO know the point of being here is to TALK to Rhode right? I
have never seen you go near him, you’re always in here.
Abby: This coming from the Shy one. I’m working up to it, and when I do it will be epic.
Claudia: I doubt that; you haven’t even spoken to him once.

28. Abby: Well damn.
Yes noon came and guess what? Abby is the first to go. She had the lowest score with Rhode and
spent all her time in here on the chess boards.
Claudia: Told you so.

29. Abby Henry, human. Eliminated on Day 2 with a score of 20.

30. And one down, that means hot tub group date time. Minus Nicole of course, Rose is
quite proud of herself for blocking Nicole’s chances of gaining a score with Rhode. Holly,
Rosalinda and Andalusia made it into the tub with Rhode this time. These three know
how to play this challenge.

31. After hot tubbing it was one on one time with the girls, starting with the lowest scores
first. Rose managed to survive elimination by 4.75 points. Rhode was to do one chat
with each of the girls. They talked about ponds, both being creatures that need water
to survive it was a good topic to bring up.

32. Next up was Holly, Rhode asked her if she liked the house. Holly had a score of 22.087 at the time
of elimination. If you’re wondering why the numbers are weird it’s because in order to check the
daily values, you need to have the NRAAS controller installed. Go to NRASS Intermediate
Long Term Value by Relationship Gender: Female and find the names that way. That will tell
you the daily value of the relationship. As any Sims 3 player knows, you can’t play this game
WITHOUT the NRAAS controller, it’s simply unplayable without it. The lag is horrendous.

33. Claudia was next with the value of 22.204. Rhode talked about sculptures and art and
they seemed to have a nice conversation about it. Claudia has the Savvy Sculptor trait
so it was right up her alley.

34. Nicole was next with a score of 23.75 and Rhode found her once more in the music
room. He brought up literature this time and as a Bookworm this was the right choice
for him to make. He seems to know what each girl wants to hear about, he’s a smart
cookie.

35. Andalusia was up after Nicole with a score of 28.35. Rhode chose the neutral topic of
conductors and music with her, I can see who the top two are in this challenge but
anything can happen in the next five days…anything.

36. Finally, our top contender with the shocking score of 34.613 Rosalinda was all too
happy to listen to Rhode go on about the sunny weather here in Isla Paradiso. Yeah
they may love it here but as a player I DON’T. The lag and freeze this place has made
me nervous about crashes because they’ve always been warning signs of a crash
incoming. So I save frequently just to be sure I don’t lose anything important.

37. I said anything could happen right? WELL LOOK! Night 2 brings me my fourth robber in
the recent playing I’ve been doing (see my completed Immortal Teen challenge for
details) I hear the music and my blood runs cold. HOW did you spawn BEHIND the
locked gate? I must know…

38. But Ani-Mei remembers, get rekt scrub! I put in alarms JUST in case of this happening.
This house has a lot of expensive and pretty things in it so it’s probably just too
tempting of a target for the unawares robber. Of course this means the whole house
gets up…

39. Walls down shot like a n00b but now you can see the conga line of grumpy awakened
participants. Bet Robber Chick didn’t expect to have this much attention when she
came in this night.

40. Rhode: CHICK FIGHT! ALRIGHT!
Holly: Can I cast a spell on them? Pretty please?
Nicole: Move Rosa! I can’t see the punch-up!

41. Andalusia: How can I clean house at 2 am with all this racket going on?
Nicole: Really? REALLY? Now you’re going to block me Rose?
Rose: Bite me Dog Girl.
Nicole: No thanks, I’m not a vegetarian. I don’t want chlorophyll in my teeth.

42. Oh would you look at that? Isla Paradiso’s PD is actually GOOD at their job. Hard to see
past the visual sound effects of the alarm but the cop won.
Rhode: Can I go back to bed now? I’ve got important shit to do tomorrow.
If you missed Claudia, Miss Heavy Sleeper never stirred.

43. Day 3 dawns and it’s time for Rhode to get in one flirt with each girl, I remembered this
time; but first we have the usual mobbing of the man by our second place contender
Andalusia while Nicole waits patiently for her turn.

44. But Nicole gets bored of waiting and wanders off to, you guessed it, dance again.
Allowing Holly to swoop in and steal her time with Rhode. Andalusia is not pleased of
course that she was interrupted.

45. Rose of course being the vulture she is, flies in for the attack not too long afterwards. I
thought I got pictures of them…but apparently not. D’oh…anyway this is going to be
done in one go so whatever saves slides works.

46. Noon came and you know that means elimination time. Today, Claudia was sent
packing.
Claudia: Was it because I missed the attempted robbery last night? Did I miss out on
valuable time with Rhode? *sigh* Guess I’ll never know now.

47. Claudia O’Malley, vampire. Eliminated on Day 3 with a score of 24.42.

48. Yeah I did the one on one time first before the hot tubbing, meh. First up was Nicole
with the second lowest score of 27.92. Rhode was happy to gain skill points, poor boy
was bored. The girls already had a few from before with their free will wandering so
they may have Rhode beat.

49. Next, with the third lowest score was Holly with a score of 29.35. Everyone talks about
the house it seems. It’s not that impressive though, just something I threw down
quickly because I had a vampire cooking in the sun and I needed to get something put
up so she could get inside and away from the evil sunlight.

50. Next was Rose who had the fourth lowest score of 35.65. Rhode discussed love and of
course Rose kept smirking, her plan to eliminate the competitors was working well. She
would have that love soon. Poor Rhode has no idea what will come if she
wins…sometimes you’re just meant to be born Evil no matter what your traits say.

51. And our top second place runner Andalusia with a score of 39.812 was next. Girl is
doing something right to keep her second place spot with Rhode. Now winning first,
that is the real goal here. Can she do it in the next four days? Let’s wait and see.

52. Andalusia’s time with Rhode is interrupted by the full moon wolf-out of Nicole. I have
to watch her because even though I turned free will off to get them all to stay put for
the chess sessions, the Lunacy coding overrides that, it’s strong in werewolves. She’ll
be trying to Lunatic Embrace and Lunatic Slap everyone if I don’t cancel the option.
Though it would make some interesting pics if she did, but her preferred target is
Rhode so that’s no bueno.

53. Nicole: I’m craving some fresh meat…maybe if I eat Andalusia it will change my
standing with Rhode…hmm. Or do I just slap her silly? So many options, so little full
moon light to decide.

54. And the first place runner, Rosalinda with a score of 42.25 and Friend status is last. I
kept Nicole away from everyone by sending her out to solo hunt so when they get to
the hot tub she has something to do. She might find something cool, who knows. Or
she’ll Error Trap reset, which is also possible. It happens a lot with my werewolves so I
don’t have them that often.

55. The Top Three made it to the hot tub with Rhode while Rose gets there too late. Nicole
has gone hunting since it won’t matter if she gets there in time or not, the stolen
clothes coding says she can’t get into the tub.

56. Day 4 dawns and Rhode resets the buffet and they are left to their own devices until
noon. Now I THOUGHT I had pictures of the flirts but I can’t find them, I have no idea
where they went, my laptop must have eaten them. They did get done, trust me on
that.

57. Nicole: My damn humiliation FINALLY wears off and I’m out the door. I will ruin Rose
for this, there’s no way in Hell that plant bitch is going to win this, and when she’s out
on her flowered ass, I’ll be there with some vinaigrette and a bunch of croutons; it’s
salad time for her.

58. Nicole Perdue, werewolf. Eliminated Day 4 with a score of 29.96.

59. Rose: Ah, so much better to not have hair floating in the hot tubs. So glad Dog Girl is gone, life is

Rhode: Tell me, was it you who stole her clothes and keeping her out of these group dates?
Rose: …maybe.

60. Andalusia: That was mean of you.
Rose: Oh like anything YOU say to me is going to guilt trip me, Miss Eternal Second Place. Love is
war; and all is fair in love and war.
Rosalinda: *stifles a chuckle* Eternal Second Place.

61. One on One date time, now since I used the Sims 2 rules for this and Sims 3 has no
“Share Interests” option in the menu I opted for a Chat and Gossip instead. First up is
the second lowest scorer, Holly with a score of 36.48. Just made it far enough to
survive.

62. Both accepted, good start. Holly chose music for her chat topic and Rhode seemed to
like it.

63. Next was the third lowest scorer, Rose with a score of 38.89. Both chat and gossip went
well but I only have one pic >_< It was late last night okay? I miss stuff. I’m a Night Owl
when something keeps me interested in it a 5:30 am bed time…that’s nothing.

64. And Ms. Eternal Second Place (lul) was next with a score of 50.55. Of course we hit
Friend status off this which is progress. I suppose Andalusia is really trying to break
into my storytelling, since she lost the poll for the Round Robin founder she’s been sort
of motivated to make it out of CAS folder limbo.

65. And the first place holder Rosalinda with a score of 50.75 (beat Andalusia but a mere
20 points) is next. Gossip and Chat readily accepted and entered Friend status too.
Rosa is not pulling any punches here, she’s in it to win it.

66. Day 4 ends with dinner, bathroom and bed for everyone. Coming down to the wire
here, only two more eliminations left before we find out who chose the Rhode To Love
the best.

67. Day 5 begins with three flirts (that I remembered to picture this time). Rhode goes for
a Flirtatious Joke, which always goes well. Holly was hooked by his clever jokes.

68. And an Amorous Hug, also accepted. Which prompts the wants for kisses from Rhode
and Holly. Not until later on kids, sorry.

69. And finally a Compliment Personality/Appearance. This is also where my cameraman
mode decided to go wonky. I don’t know why but it gets in SUPER close when I’m not
intending it to. Maybe my poor laptop is tired and wants to quit.

70. And in the music room, Rhode tracks down Rose for her three flirts. As before, opens
with Flirtatious Joke.

71. Changed it up with a Compliment Personality this time, not because Amorous Hug
wasn’t there, it was but there were many other options to choose without using his
Irresistible ones which hook and infatuate the girls for 8 hours.

72. And finish with a Compliment Personality. Rose loved all three of course. Why
wouldn’t she love them? She loves the attention.

73. And in the chess room, Ms. Eternal Second Place was next. Opening with a Flirtatious
Joke about how she’s a meal or something. And an Attractive Company moodlet from
Andalusia.

74. Compliment Personality, again. Of course always goes well, women love to hear how
they are attractive in all aspects of their being.

75. And Compliment Appearance. I’m getting low on things to say here. When we get into
the good high value stuff it might come back.

76. Flirtatious Joke, check. Of course Rosalinda will not say no to a flirt, she’s had a good
lead for a few days now.

77. Compliment Personality, check. So close to noon now and I’m cutting it close to the
wire.

78. And Compliment Appearance. Now it’s ten after noon and time to check the
scores…I’m getting nervous to see who’s leaving so close to the end.

79. Holly: I’m calling rigged! This is greenist! I was doing well!
Even though Rose is green too…but her frustration is understandable. I liked Holly,
really I wanted to see her make to the end, but them’s the breaks.

80. Holly Hemlock, witch. Eliminated Day 5 with a score of 42.89 and Friend status.

81. And here we are: The Top Three together again with Rhode.
Rhode: The house suddenly feels so empty and quiet…
Andalusia: It is, what will you do with it when this is over and one of us has won?

82. Rhode: I don’t know, sell it and take the money to go somewhere else.
Rosalinda: Don’t you like it here? It’s so warm and tropical.
Rhode: Yeah it is nice, but so laggy. There’s great dive spots here and once I get my mermaid
powers back I’d love to explore them but…not going to happen.

83. Rose: Yeah I’m kind of over this place too. Time for something new.
Andalusia: Well you know where the door is.
Rose: HA! I won’t fall for that Ms. Eternal Second Place, I’m staying till the end.

84. Well it’s past 5 pm and time for the One on Ones. This time it was supposed to be a
“Kiss Romantic” with the three remaining girls but again, not an option in Sims 3. So
they get a Blow Kiss instead. Still a kiss and it’s unique to Rhode’s Irresistible trait. And
it looks cool so there’s that. Although it doesn’t fulfill the Kiss so and so wish for Rhode.

85. Of course now they all get the Infatuated moodlet for eight hours but it’s also nearly
bed time so it will run out by morning. Rhode’s room is locked for him only as per my
usual practice in these things.

86. One more before bathroom and bedtime. Tomorrow is the crucial deciding point of
who goes and who stays…who will be the last ones standing? And who gets Rhode in
the end?

87. Day 6: Here’s where every little bit of interaction counts. All four get up for the
morning buffet and sit at the table together for some talk and shooting the breeze
before the three flirts and the second last elimination.

88. Kept all the flirts the same this time. First up is Flirtatious Joke. Easy. Rose being in
third goes first.

89. Second is the Amorous Hug. Check. Rose had been waiting for this and she made sure
her scent was set to alluring for this moment. As a plant she can do that, like Rhode
her Flower Kiss is especially powerful. And if I had her on free will she’d probably do it
too.

90. And third Give Flowers, Romantic Red. Rose accepted, but with some hesitation.
Rose: You do know I’m a plant too right? These could have been flowers I knew.
Rhode: And that would be true but these flowers are not sentient like you. I am aware of what
you are and I understand the difference.

91. Next was Andalusia who got the same Amorous Hug…

92. Flirtatious Joke, accepted…

93. And Give Flowers, Romantic Red. Accepted…

94. Yep, lather, rinse, repeat. I’m
getting so close to 100 slides
and I still have Day 7 to get to, I
didn’t want to make it more
than 100 slides…but it looks like
it’s going to be at least 110.

95. Rose: This is not cool…third has never suited me IN MY LIFE! I will never live this down.
Yes, you all saw this coming. Rosalinda and Andalusia were just better and they
outplayed everyone else to reach Day 7.

96. Rose Angel, Plantsim. Eliminated Day 6 with a score of 54.31 and Friend status.

97. Andalusia: Final Two. So glad to be rid of that evil plant. She was sabotaging the others, I’m sure
of it.
Rosalinda: Perhaps. But there’s still one more day.
Rhode: Rose wasn’t that bad, and you can’t really prove she did anything to the others.

98. Andalusia: You believe her? She admitted to ruining Nicole’s chances! Who’s to say she didn’t do
it to the others as well.
Rhode: If you forgot, this is my challenge. You were all chosen for me. The rules DON’T say
anything about using or not using actual or implied underhanded tactics to win.
Rosalinda: He has a point there.

99. One on Ones: Was supposed to be a Make Out but the tiered system in Sims 3 doesn’t
allow for that unless you’ve reached Romantic Interest level. So Rhode when for a Heat
of the Moment kiss, which of course put Andalusia right into Romantic Interest tier. A
second kiss was now possible…

100. And I chose the always cool looking Dip Kiss. Of course it was accepted and Rhode was
good enough not to drop Andalusia on her ass which is always a plus.

101. Rosalinda was more than happy to accept a Heat of the Moment kiss. Also I finally got
them dressed in everyday wear for this. Sometimes the randomizer button in CAS does
spit out some great outfits. These jeans are Diesel Stuff pack ones I think and it gave
her Roman sandals for the shoes, and it totally worked all together as an outfit.

102. Finished off the One on Ones with a badly centered Dip Kiss. I blame my cameraman
mode, it jerked around so much that this was the best I could get without the fountain
planter blocking the whole shot. I could have moved the fountain planter…but meh.

103. To fill up the last few hours until bed, it was a dance off in the music room. Andalusia
broke the pace by standing there like a tree. Oh well, you get to see Rosalinda’s whole
outfit this way and I told you it was awesome.

104. Some late dinner then it was bedtime. Tomorrow is the finale, who will win? Will Ms.
Eternal Second Place pull into first? Or will Rosalinda the Leader keep her spot and win
my not-mermaid spare’s heart?

105. Day 7, this is it. The final
stretch…three flirts before noon
and the last elimination.
Andalusia hopes to eke out

if it will be enough for Andalusia

106. These two…man. I hate to have
favourites before the final but
damn. If they had bolts in Sims 3
these two would be triple bolters
and probably stalk each other if I
let them do that.
But it’s all about the scores and
how Rhode feels about them, not
what me the writer and creator of
everyone and everything thinks…
now let’s check those scores.

107. Rhode: I don’t want to choose, don’t make me choose!
