3. Student Information ystem is a management information systemfor
education establishments to manage student data. Student information
systems provide capabilities for registering students in courses,
documenting grading, transcripts, results of student tests and
other assessment scores, building student schedules, tracking student
attendance, and managing many other student-related data needs in a
school. A SIS should not be confused with a learning management
system or virtual learning environment, where course materials,
assignments and assessment tests can be published electronically.

The goals of the project to implement a Student Information System
(SIS) are:
Implement a single SIS across all Institute.
Implement a centralized repository for data management and
reporting purposes.
Provide school-based and aggregate reporting to education
authorities, schools, students, parents, the province of institute.
Facilitate school improvement through data-driven decision
making.
Implement a SIS that reflects the Provincial standard for learning
outcomes.
Streamline school administrative tasks.
Maintain student confidentiality
Configure SIS for institutes’ unique specification.

1.) Due to security requirements Local user can not use all utilities
and modify system settings
2.)Not for mobile users

10. CONCLUSION:-
Teachers can manage attendance using web sim . So that paperwork can
be eliminated.
• Generate attendance reports any time which allows teachers to know
student is eligible to attend the exams or not.
• Students as well as parents can track grades effortlessly.
• Thus the project is the user friendly approach.
