2. Preface
Literature and Language research is one of the important components of
Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English curriculum which provides and
guides learners to the comprehensive information with respect to principles,
methods and strategies of language and literature research.
Furthermore, principles, methods and strategies are very important in
realizing the importance of language and literature research to develop and
create research outputs which substantiate language and literature teaching and
it helps the students to learn effectively, meaningfully and efficiently with respect
to the lesson objectives which are relevant to the cognitive, psychomotor and
affective learning domains of the learners especially in language and literature
contexts.
Through this compilation, it will help the BSED-English students to
understand the theories, concepts and applications of scientific knowledge in
language and literature research in teaching and learning processes.
Hence, language and literature research is prepared to help learners
ready, knowledgeable and carefully guided in all language and literature research
works and activities.
