murder. In The Act of Killing Joshua Oppenheimer gets access to the executioners, gangsters and paramilitary leaders who carried out millions of mass
killings. In General Idi Amin, Barbet Schroeder spent time with the third Ugandan President and one of the greatest mass murderers, Idi Amin Dada.
Schroeder was able to document his firsthand account of events. These documentaries demonstrate the kind of extraordinary access the authors were
given and their ability to document the unspeakably painful truth.
In both documentaries, the perpetrators seem to have the impression that they are in control of the documentary. For instance, in The Act of Killing,
the executioners set up every scene playing as victim and perpetrators, and even going as far as hiring other locals to play as victims. They acted as if
they were the producers of the film by creating the conditions, like choosing costumes, applying makeup, and setting up the villages to burn them down.
Throughout the documentary, the executioners directed the content and edited the scenes. Likewise, Anwar Congo, one of the most brutal executioner,

Throughout history there have been many leaders who abuse the power that has been bestowed upon them. A person who abuses such power is
considered a dictator, tyrant, despot, etc. These dictators typically rule through fear, and don't usually win the hearts of many. They will do whatever it
takes to stay in power over the country that they rule. One such ruler is named Idi Amin. Idi was a ruler who abused his power and saw himself as

Museveni was a former member of the UPC, in the south. In 1985, a northern Acholi General Tito Okello overthrew Milton Obote, hen second–term
president and ethnic Langi,in a fight between Acholi and Langi soldiers in Kampala, central Uganda. (S3 371) This again characterizes the power
