Analysis of film conventions/ similarities
These posters are all from skateboarding films, we can notice an immediate similarity and
that is in almost every poster the characters have a skateboard with them. Another
similarity is that in almost everyone of them they are doing a skating trick which is very
suitable and it does appeal to the audience as the characters seem ‘cool’. Most of the people
included in the are of a young age that is between 16-24 which does show that these films
are aimed at young people mostly male because its mainly boys that skate. Other similarity
is that the names of the films are very quirky and these are mainly tag names, names of
crews or names of locations
