DATAMINE AT A GLANCE:
Datamine College was established as a private tertiary training institution in
October 2013, It is fully recognized under the laws of Kenya duly registered under
number BN/238114 (registrar of companies); we are therefore mandated to operate
with a letter of no objection REF NO: MST/DTAQA/13/16VOLXVII/ (87) Ministry
of Higher Education. The ministry authorizes us to train in Certificate, Diploma
and Advanced Diploma Programmes in Business Studies, Accountancy and
Information Technology
Datamine College is an accredited college by the computer society of Kenya (CSK)
and therefore the certificate awarded from the institution is recognized in any
industry or government agencies both in Kenya and the world. This as an
endorsement provided by a trusted Authority that enhances competence, integrity
and credibility of institution and courses offered. This ensures that your
qualification will be respected and recognized by both the industry and
government.

Computing Facilities
The college has a spacious computer laboratory with internet connection which is
accessible to all students. The computer lab can accomdate a maximum of 60
students on a daily basis.One can also access our internet in their phones and

Kenya national examinations council (KNEC)
Examinations are usually scheduled for July and November of every year for
modular course, July Payment of examination fee is communicated during the time
of booking the exam
Institute of commercial Management (ICM)
Examinations are usually scheduled for March, June, September and December of
every year; the courses are either professional or single subject. Payment of
examination fee is communicated during the time of booking.
Kenya accountants and secretaries national examination board (KASNEB)

Entry requirements for examinations
The conditions for entry to examinations vary according to the nature of the course.
BUSINESS COURSES
This school provides professional qualifications that prepare one in a career in
Business Administration such as Human Resource Management, Financial
Management, and Accounting. Both regular (day) and evening programmes are
offered.
Our target groups are K.C.S.E. Holders, and all other employees who intend to

Admission Procedure
To be considered for admission, a student must fill an application form, obtainable from
admissions office and pay a non-refundable application fee, stipulated by the college.
He/she must also submit copies of relevant documents/certificates.

Registration Procedure
All students must ensure that they have registered with the heads of schools at the school
in their relevant courses. Only registered students are regarded as bonafide students of
DATAMINE College. Registered students will be issued with a student ID card.
